Hello! Name is Chris from New Jersey. I placed my order 8/25/2005 at Prestige MINI in Mahwah, NJ. I just got word that my '06 MCSa PS/Blk will be finished by 9/12/2005. How long does it take to cross the pond? I am so excited I think I'm gonna burst

I have been reading the forums and browsing the galleries, really admiring the custom work some have done

I have never been into personalizing my cars but I think I'll go a little nuts with SE7EN. Naming him after the Austin and because I got the "seven" interior option.

Still trying to decide on stripes; shelby or viper; black or frost or the cool gunmetal I just saw; bonnet only or bonnet and boot.

I would appreciate a little advice on installers in Jersey.

Congrats on your new MCS aquistion and welcome to NAM as well. It sounds like you and I ordered our MCS' around the same time frame. I have a production number that starts the week of 3 October 2005. I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas. . . .

I ordered Space Blue (solid color), not strips. Got all the JCW option packages too. I'm looking at the Viper Strips for a later MOD, but not in any rush.

Well, I just wanted to say welcome and hope to see some pics later. That's all for now.

Looks like I'm in this group as well. "Ask Mini" targets a September 16 completion; looks like we'll share the same birth date!

My car is in the paint shop, too. Hope they aren't getting my BRG overspray all over Se7en's pretty silver paint!

I placed my order 9/11/2005 and they said production will begin in December, with delivery late Feb/early Mar.

 

Wow!

I ordered 8/24/2005 and don't even have a production date estimate yet. Still "On Order"

 

FWIW, we orderd on 7/27 from ottos, she was born on 8/13 and delivered on 9/2. We got held up at the VDC for a while once stateside.

not too bad...but it is a hard wait
