New from FL, 1st Mini!

Hello all,
Just picked up a used 11' that has been well maintained by the PO with some very minor mods. Overall super happy with this car, crazy fun, and cant wait to start wrenching. Not a daily, just something to beat on during weekend or drive to work occasionally (90 miles round trip) Ironically, the car matches my garage in which I originally themed for my B7 S4.

Specs:
11' MCS
6-Speed Manual
85k Miles
Chili Red - Checkered Roof
2nd Cat & Res Delete
Air Diverter Valve mod with the BOV spacer thingy
Got a set of SSP Type-C (SSR Reps) from an R53, stupid cheap with Hoosier Race tires that i'm swapping for some Federal 595s 205/50R16s. Waiting on tires & stud conversion kit to install. Should I powder coat white? I kind of like the white wheels on red with white roof....?
WMW Stud conversion kit on the way.
Trying to decide on what wheel nuts to get.. color?

Plans:
8" Subwoofer - Can anyone give a link to peoples R56 sub set ups? Need some ideas. Is 8" compact enough that will offer enough bass with the air space we have to work with? Not looking to DB Drag or anything, just need some thump. I been in an R53 with the premium Harmon Kardon system and it sounded great.
Lower it & rip it!
Probably will upgrade the brakes, doesnt feel like it has very good stopping power... Suggestions?
Looking for a front license plate bracket & hardware. PO took it off and now just 4 holes in the front. Will a Euro front bracket use the same holes?
Needs a rear hatch button, have to use remote to open.
Also need the driver side front lip thing. its like a little splitter coming off the bottom of the bumper lip. the RH side is there but missing LH side. I think its held in by 4 plastic clips but dont know the proper name. Ill get a photo later.

RIP B7 S4, Time to find somewhere else to sleep at night! (The mini gives me so much more room for activities)

Look forward to working with you all on this mini!

Whats this missing piece called? Driver side is missing, Passenger side shown for reference. Some kind of bumper trim splitter piece? Looked on ebay for one and someone had a whole bumper but with the same trim piece missing ><.

OMG.....I see pikachuuuuuu!.....and a TV!.....and look at all those tool cabinets!

Oh....ahem...yes, congrats on the Mini purchase, nice Chili red.
In regards to some of your queries:
I'd suggest not going with white wheels as maintenance is a B!&%#. If you plan to lower it then I think the SSR reps would look lovely in bronze (little bit of JDM flair).
I can't help you with wheels nuts, front flap/lip thingo or license plate bracket as I don't have the knowledge but maybe someone else can fill in the gaps.
For brake upgrade, maybe look into a set of used 2nd gen JCW calipers?

Welcome, nice garage. Those are the pressure lips. https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...20#51112755337

# 10 is the lip all one piece and you can cut it to be like the older version

Expanding rivets: https://www.ecstuning.com/Search/Sit...h/51471911992/

The newer bumpers have the part that goes across, the older ones that that design without the holes all the way across.

Welcome, and Congrats on your new-to-you MINI. There are quite a few active local MINI groups around the state. Search for Sunshine MINIs on Facebook (if you're a user) and you should be able to find your local group if that's your thing.

Happy Motoring!

That was my first thought was to go bronze, but I'm an "elder millennial" so I've been with the JDM Rice Soy Sauce & Butter. Wheels are in the shop getting powdered white. Getting them gloss white with the UV protective inhibitors to keep them from turning yellow. Shoes came in though! 205/50ZR16 Federal 595 SS. For some off-brand, I have to say I'm pretty impressed... "Made for America" "With Patriot Pride" ... made in Taiwan! It only fits that I put these on Replica Wheels!!!! BMW center caps on the way to set it off. Stay tuned!!.

I heard good things about Federal tires. I'm debating on getting a set of them as performance tires. Plus my wife's Taiwanese so she's always happy when I support her homeland.
