New and first Mini Owner in Northern Va

Hey guys and gals, just wanted to say hello to the forum and introduce myself. This is my first Mini as I typically stick with Japanese brands especially Toyota but I was looking for something fun to drive that got good gas and was also a manual, well this car fit the bill. I've never driven one until I took this for a test drive and it had me smiling right from the start, it's a blast to drive and handles amazing (well most things probably would compared to what I normally drive). My first few cars were hatches and I've missed them over the years so this just brings back all that enjoyment and tons more and I thought my turbo'd 93 Civic was quick. Anyways here are a few pics, I just finished detailing it, 2016 Cooper S, Certified Preowned w/28K on it. I look forward to getting started modding it as I don't keep anything stock and I'm sure I'll be looking for advice. Thanks in advance

Well I already spent $600 on it I just placed an order for all the parts to get rid of the chrome, I know this is the first of many orders.

And so it begins......
You'll find plenty of members only too glad to enable, I mean, make suggestions about how to invest in mods.

Well that's excellent, I just need to keep working overtime to keep up with the parts influx

Well the first of many mods is complete! Spent the morning detailing it, got about 95% paint correction, it's like glass. Also swapped out all the chrome for the factory gloss black parts. Next I think will be suspension as I haven't narrowed down an exhaust yet.
