Hello, I used to live in New Orleans, where the streets: mushroomed both of the front strut bushing housing's, destroyed the bushings themselves, and made part of the sunroof's mechanism fall off. I have posted some stuff regarding SC's breaking, who is liable (ME!!), and warranty business. I have a 'TSB' 02 Pure Silver MCS, normal early mods, and a black cat. I am wondering how many folks high beam other Minis for other Mini-owners recognition, they did it in NOLA, but not so much in North Texas.

I'm waiting for my Matrix lease to expire (3 months) and want to order my mini cooper soon. What a dilemma. What color. I'm thinking of chili red with black with sunroof, black cloth interior with anthricite dash. My son just told me Black with Black roof. Any opinions???:impatient

 

Who's going to drive the car more, your son or you? You go what you like. Chili red is not a bad color. The wait can be brutal...but worth it.

My 06 CR/B MCS just touched down on American soil on 9/28 and i am hoping to enjoy a few Western MA/Southern VT roads before that snow flies. I do have a habit of being a lurker, but I am trying to change that.

Hey everyone. I am new here found this site this past week.
Just ordered mine. '06 MCSa BRG/W Sports PKG, bonnet stripes, Convenience PKG, NAV, OBC, Black & Tan Leather, rear fog lights Harmon-kardon stereo, 6-disc changer, MFSW.
I have learned a lot about the Mini over the last couple of day.

The count down begins........

 

I Ordered Little Peeps on Friday night. I saw the Chili Red with Black and couldn't resist. Great experience. I was told by the Dealer Manager, sometime around Thanksgiving. 6-8 weeks. I'm expecting 10 weeks just so not to be disappointed. I have up to 1/22 to turn in my Matrix. I just now have to be patient.

06 MC CR/Black Roof, Premium, Cold Weather, Auto Trans, Anthricite, Black Octagon Cloth Seats, H/K, Front Fog Lights.

 

I picked up an 05 MCS used a month back. Just put on an Alta CAI and
awaiting arrival of the exhaust. Anyone say addiction. Glad to be a part
of the team.

Hi folks. My name is Lee Cornett. I wish I had known about and done this a long time ago. We (my wife Kathy and myself) own a '77 British Open Classic and a modified '05 Hot Orange convertible. I am about to attempt one last time to sell the convertible with the goodies (Mini Madness: intake, 19 percent pulley and software, performance fuel pressure regulator,, cowl cold air intake kit, Schrick cam, ported-and-polished head and intake,Stage II High Performance Street Clutch, and aluminum lightweight flywheel, short shift kit, high performance brake pads and SS lines, and TMS H&R springs) on it (It is QUICK) and if I don't get any interest very soon they are going to come off. In that event, I hope to save them and find and procure an '02 or so S hopefully very reasonably to put a cage in for a street/track car. That only after I sell my BMW racer. Whew! I'm getting tired! (AND long-winded!)

I look forward to getting involved in some Mini activities in the future. I had talked to Phil Wicks a year ago or so about instructing at one of his schools but simply haven't had the time to yet.

I hope to get to know some of you and maybe meet you personally at some event in the future.
