Hi Everyone,

Have been lurking for a couple weeks and decided to post a welcome. We bought a Hot Orange convertible over Labor day weekend for my wife and just love it. Now that it is out of the shop and we can enjoy the top down experience it is great. We are in Northern Il up along the border between Milwaukee & Chicago so it is great to see such strong groups and followings on here. Hopefully we can make it to some of the events.

Hi all...just back from MTTS. Heard about NAM from lots of folks while crossing the country. We have an 06 Silver S Convertible with black interior. Now I need some help. Our bags came in and out for 35 straight days..had to drive from Williamsburg VA to Monterey in order to do the whole Fandango with MTTS. Now I have some scratches on the sides of the back seat area. It's is lookalike black leather material. Any ideas on how to cover the marks and bring back the black color?

WeGoTopless,

One look at the position of your seats and I can tell which of you is getting to drive the new MCS Convertible... the shorter of the two of you !

We're thinking of adding a third MINI to our family and the Hot Orange convertible is the one we have our eyes on. Love it... nice choice !

CIGARGUY, great online name! You think we could invent some kind of onboard humidor for the MINI?

You could get two of them and have your own to drive. Well... maybe not such a good idea. I spend a lot of time washing, polishing, and waxing these days.

By the way, any plans to put Bonnet and Boot stripes on that cabrio ?

Ps. Love the wheels (see the CR MINI below).

Yep, want to do bonnets and probably boots too. Just starting to research if they are available in the dark blue to match the interior or otherwise we will go with black.

Blue stripes would look great ! Can't go wrong with the black ones either. Looking forward to the updated pics.

new to NAM

Great site. I lurked for a while before joining. Still waiting to hear from the dealer for the delivery of my new MCSa. It should be coming this month...still waiting for the call.

I started posting anything about MINIS on Motoringfile as allenski, then found the infamous MINI2 site and I post there as krazy88.

Now I'm here.

Hey there guys (and female MINI drivers too of course!)

the names Nick and I'm 17, and unfortunetely, cannot yet afford the MCS I want. I drove my friend's dad's, and fell in love. It was a '05 (I think) Cabrio S, and it was probably the funnest thing I've ever driver.

So as of now, I'm working 40 hours a week while still attending high school to get as much money as possible to get myself a 2004 MCS.

I found this site like a week ago, and it has a lot of great stuff on here, and I figure I'l need some reccomendations and the like so hopefully you guys can help me out

Glad to be here

So I just wanted to introduce myself.....I'm Dede and have had my mini for over 3 months now and am enjoying the motoring!

My motorcycle is jealous, but I have been motoring more than riding. I can't wait until the club meeting in October at the race track. I want to see that place. So I guess I need to let someone know that my husband and I will be attending

I love those little faces also. That's all for now

Dede

De-lurking

Just wanted to introduce myself since I'm new to this board. I've had my '03S for about 3 weeks and I love it. It's the lighter silver (Can't remember the name) with a black top, black mirors and the sport and premium packages. I got it for only $18750 with only 23K on it, so i think I got an excellent deal. I do have some questions regarding tires and stuff, but I'll post to the appropriate forums for that. Good to see such an active community!

So, have you joined the local MINI Club, yet? PSMINI has many great motoring ops in the next few months, including a "Sir Alex Birthday Party and Rally" on Oct 15th at NorthWest MINI in Fife. My ID on the Forum is the same as on NAM.
