New guy Southern California
Hey now I have been reading many threads since I purchased a 2015 Roadster S Eclipse Gray no mods and only 14,000 miles. I am sure I will be inquiring on things as I get to know the mini cooper. I test drove the 2003 model i think when they first became available here in the states and thought it was under powered and had a cheap feel but I aways loved the way they looked. Long story short I have owned audi TT, Mazda Miata,Bmw Z3 ,Porsche Boxster S,350Z and of all of those cars the Porsche was the best car ever and I owned it for 10 years. I sold the Porsche and leased a Chevy Volt anyways I am excited to have a sports car again. I like it so far but it has only been a week. Things that I am not sure about are the standard pleather seats and the standard base radio but I do have the Harmon speakers and they sound fine. I feel I need a back up camera as I have one on my other car and was used to it with the volt. If you have suggestion feel free to let me know. Thanks in advance for your patients and for your expertise!

Welcome to NAM.
Nice looking car.
Loads of information here and with new technologies being released everyday there are loads of add-on back up camera kits available, it really comes down to what you want and the amount you want to pay.
Opinions and product reviews are great sources of information but it still comes down to what YOU want.
Motor On!

Funny thing my chevy volt was close to this color...to be honest I would have preferred lightning blue metallic with Polar beige lounge leather interior. This car is not my first choice but I am sure it will grow on me. As far as tuning goes that can be a slippery slope as you do one thing and you have to do another its like remodeling your home..I would like a polar beige leather as it gets
very hot here in los angeles..I did take a ride to the beach over the weekend and I think the first thing will be a sway bar as going into corners hot the car did not feel planted. I will say the car brings a smile to my face every time I am near it!
