Ouch, shes hoooooot. Sexy with her "high" wheels. Ready for the streets. I bet she turns heads. Once the tints on, she'll be a tease.
I had the tinting done at a local shop. I talked to the dealer about options. He said that they could get someone to come out and do it, but that they would be doing it outside at the dealership, which would not be ideal conditions. He suggested finding somewhere to take it so that it would be done indoors. I got a couple of recommendations for the same local shop, and I think they did a great job.
Thanks for all of the compliments

So, jumping in with an update. I was meant to pick up the car today but unfortuately it did not pan out. As it stands she is all ready at the dealer and just waiting for me to go on by and pick her up. Seems like Friday evening or Saturday morning will be the day so I will be posting pics up next Saturday at latest. I can't wait!

[QUOTE=NinjaTurtle;3536720]This is it...my last view for the next 10 days or so. I SO wish I could see inside!

yours is going to be a sweet ride. can't wait to see the pics! you have an exciting next few weeks coming!!

Not to burst your bubble but that's when the hardest part of waiting begins.
You get all excited that your MINI is complete then it seems to take forever to get to the point of picking it up.

That being said, be patient, eat a lot of
and know it will be more then worth the wait!!!

While excited, I was also a little sad as I headed to the dealership yesterday. I felt as if I were dropping off my loyal pet at the pound, just to pick up a playful new puppy...
But as soon as I left the dealership and rounded a few curves of Grants Mill Road, I knew I had found my new best friend.

I can relate with what you said, I gave up my 2001 Jeep Wrangler that I just turned 100000 miles on. That was without a doubt my most loyal friend.
It's hard to admit that I don't miss "Jeep" much accept the top down doors off rides. You can't compare the feel of this luxury sports car to much else.

Yes people, I said luxury sports car!!!

I guess somebody had to do it.

I can't wait to see Raphael home and some pictures posted.
And then to see who takes your place as the resident stalker.

Alright, i've taken the plunge into this madness. Placed my order and gave my deposit for a Countryman S. Shipping to Portland, OR so I'm expecting a solid 10+ weeks for delivery. I'm downsizing from an absolutely gigantic German sedan, so I'm excited to get back into a smaller car. Once I get all the production info, I may have to just forget about this forum for a solid month lest I drive myself crazy. Any hints for an OCD type who barely had the patience to place an order instead of taking one off the lot?
