"Those Waiting for a 2012" Support Group
Guess I'll be the last of the Tombarrians to bring their mini home. MA today still says no update. I'll make a trip down there tomorrow I guess.
Yes, Chumahue began his long voyage on Tombarra from Bremerhaven on June 5 and was joined by his buddies in Southampton on June 7. They were offloaded in Port Hueneme on June 29, and Chumahue boarded a truck on July 2. He said goodbye to his cruisemates as they were dropped off at dealerships in Orange county, saying "Maybe we'll see each other again on the roads in SoCal!" Spent a chilly night on the truck and was finally delivered to San Diego MINI on July 3. Got his first look at the CA-163 Freeway, I-805 freeway, and I-8 freeway before arriving at his new home.
Ouch. Thanks for making me feel a little better. Well maybe not, my MA and his manager have no clue where my mini is at.

Now, back to the boat. Don't you want to tell the ***-ociation to kiss your poop-deck!
So, I'm quoting the first post of this thread, has been superseded by the 2013 Support Group thread. June has passed, and all new orders will be for 2013!
So for those of you still waiting for your wonderful 2012, just know the wait is almost over, and you'll be motoring right along with the rest of us.
For those of you WITH your 2012, I hope you're enjoying it just as much as I've been enjoying mine.
BE MINI!
(ok that was cheesy
)

)Thank you Vapok for starting this thread, with 4237 posts you have given us all a place to hang out. Some really fun people helping each other, sharing laughs and making the waiting game more bearable.
My hat's off to you Vapok!
I wasn't really wearing a hat to begin with but the thought is still the same!
I can see myself getting as attached to my Pumpkinhead as I was to my Jeep. I can only hope the MINI will be as reliable.
I've had Pumpkinhead for 1 month and am loving the ride!

I work in Vista, so we may pass now and then.
Transported to port!
First post here.... My lighting blue hardtop with dual sunroof was finished Monday and has been "transported to port" ever since.... I'm hoping it can make tomorrow's ship to Baltimore or at least Saturday's because otherwise there's nothing until next week. Its vin still isn't showing anything on WW's site.
Can't wait to get my car and get rid of my way too big and no fun Accord!
