"Those Waiting for a 2012" Support Group

I think Tombarra is supposed to get into Panama Canal sometime near noon tomorrow 6/19, Central time. I also found the webcam for the Panama Canal. Let me know if you need the website
Waiting patiently! Just signed up for Mini's in the Mountains 2012 in Winter Park, CO 8/2 - 8/5. Surely i'll have Winston by then?

Before I forget, your MCS ~JCW Modified~ looks terrific. The lighting shows off the depth of color.
I've watched the Carnival Splendor go up and down the Baja coast twice since the Vega_Leader left port!
Well, my MCS All4 is fully built. Ask-Mini says it's either enroute to the port, or awaiting transportation to the port. So now I get to check the WW site to see when it gets on a ship. There's one leaving on the 22nd for Baltimore. Could be close. Depends on when exactly mine was finished, and if it's on it's way, or still waiting for transport.
lololololololololol!!!!!!!!!! I thought I was the only crazy one here?
For all of you MINI Maniacs waiting on the Tombarra. Here is the link to the ship's details if you haven't already found it. As of 6:42 Eastern the Tombarra is still out of range. I tried Sailwx.info but it has not reported it's position by Voluntary Weather Reporting..

For all others that know the name of the ship your MINI is on, click vessels at the top of the page and start your stalking.
Keep in mind that there will only be up to date information on ship's that are within ground radar range or that have reported their position by other means.
Happy hunting!

After I posted that message, I called my sales manager and he said that i'll definitely have Winston by then. He anticipates Winston arriving at the dealership July 5-12.
My little Bubba is on the way!
Got a text from my MA yesterday that Bubba was on a boat and should be in the US by the end of the month. He is on The Florida Highway. I had been checking the WW lines and nothing was showing up, he is on the K line. By the schedule he left June 15th. I am so excited!!!

WOW! Thank you for the info! It appears Tombarra is still MIA

i'm sure she will resurface (hopefully no pun intended!)
So Turandot arrived on the 14th in Jersey City and my dealer told me that it would be approx. 10 days after that he would see the car. I just checked the mini site today and it says my car is at the dealer and expected delivery was on the 16th!! Seems like it made it through the VDC rather quick. Here is to hoping I get the call soon so I can go pick up my MCS CM :D
Hoping for your capicuuu (and everyone else).
Be forewarned though...the waiting doesn't end once you have your whip!
Rather than waiting to pick it up from the dealer, you are perpetually waiting to be done wherever you are so you can get back to motoring! It becomes a vicious circle!

So I guess the benifit to waiting, my little girl is schedule to be born 6/21, is that we have time to aquire presents that will be waiting for her first day home....
too bad the toys will be here long before she arrives home.... it is a game of patience... I HATE that game

Tombarra will enter the canal another day behind schedule. After the delay in Southampton, and now this one, it looks even less like I'll be able to take delivery by July 2, the deadline for Takedown offer. Keeping my fingers crossed that she picks up speed on the Pacific side.

According to How to Track your MINI: Revised, Expanded and Updated, which is the best thread... and also the reason is a sticky thread in the 1st Gear forum.
-Port Hueneme, CA (Port Loc = PHMPOA): WW, ~21 days for transport (thanks krim)
