Mine's docked. After some annoying days where Sailwx wasn't giving any updates past Panama, there were hourly updates from the Mexican border on. Seems to have been in port since 4:33 (pacific) this morning.

In other news my wheels/tires for the track arrived this morning.

I believe Minnesota law is 50%... and I'm sure they were very happy with the small windows

The California Highway is expected to dock at 1:30am in Brunswick! Yippee!!! Hope our MINIs aren't sea sick! I know I would be!

 

Tint looks good fatboy97. 50% looks about right. If it was 35% it would be much darker.
I checked the Ohio State Highway Patrol website and it states no darker than 50% on sides and rear. That's after seeing 50% front sides and any tint on the rear sides and back windows. Big difference between any and 50%. I think I would have to side with the State Highway patrol if I get Pumpkinhead tinted.

I'm glad your tint is lighter, it's enough to cut down the visible and UV light and still be able to see clearly. That's one rich looking coupe!

Tombarra crew checking in. I was wondering why tracking wasn't updating! Probably better to just try to forget about it until it comes though.

Anyone planning on switching out the runflats for regular tires? I'm wondering if tire shops or even dealers do tire trade-ins. I'm thinking you'd probably make some money back with how much runflats cost.

 

The ship is probably out of range of ground radar.

On the runflats. Someone here in the forums would buy them from you for the right price. Plenty of people like the runflats, about an equal amount can't wait to get rid of them. Most just run them out then change to non-runflats I don't know of any place that would do any kind of trade in.

 

I plan on keeping mine, but as soon as it's time for new shoes they are gone!

How long are the MINIs usually at the VDC before heading to the dealer?

 

It's weird the CalHwy hasn't docked yet. It fell off the map. Also, why does it pass Charleston to Brunswick and the go back?

 

Yeah, I'm puzzled, too. It just says that it's anchored (or moored, whatever that means). And it still says that the last port it reported to was Baltimore. I guess it hasn't dropped our MINIs yet. Maybe CalHwy has to wait on other ships before it can enter. Hmm...

 

That's weird. Sailwx says the ship (Faust) has now left Port hueneme, but ASK MINI now says his status is "at the port awaiting transport". That's what you usually get at Southhampton waiting for a ship. I hope it means waiting for a truck to the dealer.
