Finally took the plunge!!!!

I had looked at a MINI base coupe before I traded my 2006 Acura TSX on a new 2010 Crosstour a year and a half ago, loved the MINI but decided to be practical instead and bought the new Crosstour. While the Crosstour is nice, comfortable and quiet, I missed the sporty drive and smaller size of the TSX. WELLLLL on Tuesday, 6/21 I bought my 2006 MINI Cooper S with 56,000 miles in Astro Black with a 6-speed Getrag manual, traded my practical Crosstour for MINI FUN and am looking for any excuse to drive again because I am enjoying it soooo much!!!!!

I think it is going to be difficult for a bit to take advantage of the gas mileage gain that my MINI give me because driving it just makes me want to get into the accelerator and have fun.

Thanks to everyone here who contributes as I scoured the forums for a day before I took her home with me, you guys helped me make the final decision.

Me too!

I just bought my new-to-me mini 10 days ago and I am always looking for an excuse to take her out. I am enjoying the heck out of it!!

And with the money you save in gas, it is still practical!

Bigger does not always mean practical. If the Mini is all you need, it's more practical than the Crosstour. And more fun!

Having my brand new Mini for 3 weeks and 4 days; don't even look for an excuse anymore. I'll just get in and go for a few blocks to get my fix, hehe! Silly but its THaT much fun! Just over 1900 km on my odometer, never driven so much but hey I never had a Mini in my life before!

I was actually thinking about a MINI S recently. I know when I got my motorcycle, I'd take it out for literally any reason. I bet I'd be just as bad with the MINI. Haha.

But awesome, man! You bought the car to enjoy, so go nuts.
