I own a Mini Cooper S!!

2010 Chili red, white roof, MANUAL, premium pkg, sport pkg, convenience pkg. I pick it up tomorrow!! Now it needs a name!

And thank you all for the fabulous information, I have learned so much pouring over all the posts. I'll have tons of questions, but for now just reveling in the glow of finally after waiting all this time and life getting in the way I have my little red car!

And the coolest thing was a month ago I was in Oxford, had no idea these little critters were assembled there and every time I turned around there was a transport full of them just teasing me! I did the math and it's highly possible my car was sitting on one of those transports, in fact it WAS and that's my story and I'm sticking to it!!!

We were destined to be together. Strangers meeting on strange continent.....

We've had ours for a week now and can't say we've ever felt an attachment like we do for our little car. Silly, I know, but we can't stop driving it and looking at it.

Need a name, huh? "Pepper"??? As in a red pepper. Cute, little and SPICY!!!

Here it is!! Can't decide on if it's a girl or a boy, leaning towards girl since that's the kind I've always had, plus the hub would then be immersed in estrogen since our only boy moved to San Diego and I think his car is a girl since it's all sexy.

It's sorta your fault (well yours and Lady Godiva's) I now have an Indi Blue Metalic "03 MCS.....bought it on Monday. Saw your posts on the other board and was inspired to go for it. Love my little car!

How do you like the setup with these options so far? I have a very similarly optioned car on the way and feel like I might have gone a bit overboard with the Prem/Sport/Conv packages (I even threw in in Cold Weather since I'm in NJ). I'm sure I won't be lacking for buttons, if nothing else.

NJMini, the car came this way, I didn't order it. There are certain parts of the pkgs I wanted. I wanted the garage door opener since I'm use to that but never thought I would use the comfort access, boy was I wrong, I LOVE the comfort access!!! The Bluetooth I'm a tad annoyed with, you need the Nav to be able to use voice calling. I hadn't planned on getting that so it's not a big deal, but seems like a poor excuse for Bluetooth.

I wasn't tied to the fact of a sunroof, I wanted one, but if there wasn't one available in red I would have gone without it. I found in my old car I hardly ever used it. But I'm glad I have it, I was caught in a heavy rain storm so put the seat back and watched it rain, it was heavenly! Climate control is nice, it's hot here in Florida so being able to hit a button for auto cold cold cold, is pretty cool. The Harman/Kardon? I don't hear very well, so it's really lost on me. I tend to drive with no radio on.

Sport package is not something I would have ordered, tho the Xenon lights are nice.

I would have ordered the cold pkg as even in Florida it's nice to have warm buns on some days.

I began to hate driving in my old car, it was like once I was home from an errand it would take a bomb to get me out of the house again. The Mini is changing that! I'm finding reasons to go out! The hubster has been sick and I kept offering to go out and get him more medicine. I think I'm in love!!
