2005 MCS in the hizzle with a pleasant surprise!

Hi guys! First post! Just sold my beloved MR2 Spyder and picked up a sweet MCS. First thing is first... I can't wait to dechrome this sucka with some m7 goodies!

And don't ask me how the lot didn't realize it was packing this under the hood...

They completely failed to mention anything at all about the jcw kit installed. The ironic thing is, i got it from a SMART dealership

anywho.. HELLO!

Hello and welcome. CONGRATS on the deal! I do not know how anyone would miss that but I bet you are happy! You will be with your new Mini. It will be a blast, especially with a JCW! (lucky dog)

And the dechroming, check out the "Aero Grill"

will make the front of ur car meaner, and IMO much much cleaner.

Welcome to the mini club!

Hey thanks guys! Ya I'm gonna go with the aero grill.. The m7 needs a surround, just looks too unfinished. Gotta go pick up some plastidip and painters tape

Have any of you dove an mr2 spyder? It's amazing the similarities between these two vehicles. The spyder was more exotic lookin, but not practical at all. This r53 is great! I'm lovin this forum as well!

Wow, amazing car! You have the two things that I want but don't have: the NAV and the JCW kit! Awesome find, looks fully loaded to me

Thanks man! your car looks great! I was honestly looking for one without the nav, lol, to save money because I was planning on putting one in anyway (the kind with the flip out screen). I just happened to stumble upon this one. I really did get lucky with it.

Yeah, definitely lucky. You have the chrome line interior too, are you taking that out?

Yeah, me either. I have the full anthracite interior. Maybe you want to source the trim rings in the matching anthracite?
