New 2003 MCS sitting in the driveway....finally!

Hey all, just wanted to introduce myself. Have been dreaming about a MINI for 5 years now. Considering i am still a teen, a majority of my life has been leading up to this point. I had a '94 Ford Probe, but that was one big pile. taught me to drive stick, so i really can't complain Have been searching for a mini for the past several months. Finally found one at Paul Miller BMW in Wayne, NJ. Went there, test drove it (2002 MCS, silver w/ black racing stripes) REALLY wanted to walk off with it. But the salesman certainly did not know how to deal with customers. To tell a long story short, he sold the car out from under me. Found another MCS (hyper blue w/black stripes) at Springfield Acura. AWESOME service there, and drove out with MY OWN MINI after 2 days. Now im building credit, and driving a car that will make pretty much everyone in my town jealous. I'm not looking to make this car do fifty million miles an hour, but i want her to be the eye candy of the town. I WILL BE BACK HERE ALMSOT EVERY DAY to help with all my modding needs. THANKS EVERYONE

Congrats and welcome. I know its something special when you finally get your own car (one that isn't a p.o.s, I was driving a '92 Chevy cavalier before)

I also bought a 2003 MCS. How many miles are on yours? I got 130k but was well taken care of and still going very strong.

Hope you enjoy the mini as much as the rest of us and have fun with any mod you do. motor on!

That has happened to all of us, soon you will begin to make reasons to go out and drive. "I got to go pick something/drop off something at someones house."

I have many friends who love driving my car and every time we hang out, they end up taking it out for a bit.... they even pay for gas to drive it!

Congrats!! I too just got my 03 MCS after years of lusting and months of searching. However, I had to wait until I was almost 40.

You won't take it too badly if I call you a spoiled brat, will ya?

Congrats on the MINI!!
Good luck with the modding! Make it your own and you'll never go wrong!! There's ton's of DIY info, and "buy it" parts as well on here! Have fun, and rock on for being part of the "younger" MINI owner crowd!
