Newbie in Montana
Just saying hello.
Just purchased a new to me '03 MCS, 39k miles, Electric Blue/white, all stock.
I love the car so far even though it trammlines like crazy (Its got the Euforias, the fronts are about worn out, and I'll be putting snows on soon, so hopefully the trammlining will go away)
A bit about me:
I'm an engineer, been into cars as long as I can remember, avid autocrosser, Porsche Club of America DE participant/instructor.
I have mostly owned VWs and Porsches, but my wife and I have wanted a Mini since they first arrived, so we are really looking forward to owning this car.
Here's a pic although I'm sure it looks like every other blue one.

Welcome aboard, Montana is a great place to be a MINIac. It is a shame that they finally caved to the feds on speed limits, but there are still some places where you can let it run and plenty of twisties for G-forcing.
I think the tramlining will disappear once you get rid of the worn out rubber as that is one thing I haven't heard anyone complain about. ENJOY

Welcome! What part of Montana? My son just moved back to Bozeman after relocating to Wyoming for 6 months for a job. He missed Bozeman so much he quit and moved back! I would move there in a heartbeat, if I could figure out how to make a living there. It's beautiful!

FWIW, although the 17" wheels and runflat tires aggravated the trammlining thing, the problem was due to a worn ball joint.
Kinda weird to have a worn ball joint (actually 2, one outer, one inner) at 39k miles, I'm starting to wonder about the history of our 'new' car.
