Good Day All,

My wife and I became the proud owners of a 2009 Pure Silver over Horizon Blue John Cooper Works Clubman today!?!?!?

WONDERFUL Machine. We put about 150 miles on it this afternoon coming home from Buffalo by way of Rochester (had to make a Dinosaur BBQ run!). However, I need to keep reminding myself to not tap into that 208hp too frequently so that we can keep the fuel mileage up. BIG temptation, though...

We traded in a 1994 Isuzu Trooper with the CARS program. I have owned this truck since new and it was a bit hard to part with it. It had almost 163,000 on it. The truck still ran well and nearly everything still worked.

Anyway, it is a big change but I have lusted after Minis since the mid-60's. A sports car dealer in my home town had 2 when I was in high school: an 850 and a 1275 Cooper. The 1275 was a lot of car for the time, but it took close to 2 years for the cars to sell. Those were the days!

Welcome and enjoy your MINI. I sold my beloved BMW 3 series convertible and bought a MCS convertible. This car is just a blast to drive but I have made very little progress at staying out of the turbo and mine has about 35 fewer horses than yours These are very unique cars.....

Yes, I have noticed that this will be a continuing challenge...

Congrats!

My husband told me I was going to get a ticket if I didn't slow down. I happily replied "Yes I am" with a big cheesy grin on my face. Schroeder just begs to driven. How can I refuse?

Enjoy your new toy!
