Thinking about it

I've been thinking about getting a Mini for the last couple of years. I thought I would join to see what's up.

I thought about buying for at least a couple of years.
I ended up buying a used '04 MCS and I love it.
My recommendation... buy a used "04 to '06 MCS.
Your investment won't be too bad and if you don't like it (I can't imagine), you can bail with not much loss.

I test drove an '06 S convertible today. It was an automatic - and while I'm glad to say I've tried it, the auto is not for me.

With the exception of a beater Datsun that I drove for a couple of years in college I've had convertibles for the last 20 years. The next car that I get will be one as well.

I'll keep you posted, though since I've been waiting for several years it might be a wait!
