I did this time but did not the first time and got kits both times. The first car was not financed through MINI Financial.

I haven't signed up for paperless, yet still got the kit.

The adventure kit was followed up two days later by the envelope... has anyone used it yet to paint their driveway? Wish I owned the space I park on so I could paint mine

Do you mean the finish line stencil? I got one a while ago and have been very tempted to use it but continue to "chicken out".

The one I received says "Mini Parking Only", and looks like the ones you see for BMWs or Corvetts, etc..
You're supposed to use it as a mask to spray paint your driveway, but I don't own that space, so I've been thinking of other uses for it...

I haven't received the stencil yet, and in answer your question, CThoma, no, I have not signed up for the paperless statements. For some reason I keep getting error messages and I've even tried switching computers and it still doesn't work. I think that Mini may have a computer glitch.

You're welcome! I'd try your MA first. The service guys at my dealership were clueless when it came to the rubber floor mats. Thankfully, my MA knew exactly what was wrong.

Funny story: Today, while I was out motoring, I pulled up to stop sign next to this woman with a Golden in her back seat. She must have seen my sister and I admiring her golden, because she then rolls down her window and offers to trade her dog for my Mini! I just laughed and told her that I already had a Golden so I was good to go on that account, but I couldn't believe it. It was so funny. Granted, Bonnie looks really pretty now that she's clean again

No stencils yet. I got the AFK early in the week. Wonder if the stencils will come? No MINI financing, but I don't think that is it.

Erinbr, I like your signature block with the CROC logo. I have been trying to download a CROC logo to put with my sig, but have not been successful yet. I'll be in New England this week, so if I see a Chilired, I will give it a special wave

I did get two stencils, as well.
Thanks, Windfall! Just getting creative...
There's a few CR/W in this area, but I'll look for a CR/B and wave...

hey another question I thought I would ask all of you any of you notice like a "thud" type of noise coming from the back of the car when you stop or are going slow??

I keep hearing it and it almost sounds like something has alot of built up pressure and its letting it out in short bursts.

This only really happens after some driving where you are really getting on it, but as an example i stopped turned off the car and it made the thud noise 11 times once......

I dont want to call the dealer because they dont do ANYTHING

Yep. I noticed it in my MC several times. I wrote it off as normal and haven't mentioned it to my dealer. I think I read here a while ago that it's normal but I don't remember where they said the noise is coming from exactly. So far, no issues. YMMV

Virginia to Massachusetts today. 38 MPG, mostly about 70. Pretty happy with that. The little reserve warning beeps at about 80 miles of fuel left. Then at about 30 miles, it comes on and counts down, though, if you go down a long hill, you might gain a mile. If you go up a long one, all of a sudden you lose one. I suppose it is doing continuous calculations. Anyhoo, at about 10 miles on the reserve mileage (in the window in the bottom of the tach) I stopped and put in 14 gallons. I am pretty sure the pump was correct, as I have put in 13.5 and 13.3 before. That is pretty good for a tank that claims to hold 13.2 gal. My no. 1 sweetie and I found it pretty comfortable, which I was a little worried about. I am 6'3" and my last car was a VW passedout er Passat, which was comfortable but had 'issues'.
End of Travelogue.

Yes I did sign up for paperless billing, which I really like, since I do on-line banking. Trying to save trees, I am. . The best I have gotten with my 'S' on the highway is 34 MPG with no A/C, 32 with the A/C on. Have not received the stencil kit yet. j.

Oh, Mrs J - the British flag ball? I love the idea - will have to hunt one down on the web! I like that better than the 8-ball..

Windfall, welcome to Mass! I also can squeeze about 38 at 70mph.. No CR/B's on the way home from work.. must have missed you

We still haven't received the adventure kit or stencils. Just took a 850 mile trip and still only got 30 mpgs, although we were traveling between 75 and 80 mph and the top down.

Last week we met up with MRS JIMINNI and JIMINNI. Great to see your car, BEAUTIFUL, we loved your choices. Thanks for showing us some features we didn't know about, we are now all set up with the settings. We had to go through the navigation to do the set-up. We really enjoyed meeting you and hopefully sometime we will make a run with midcal mini.

I'd love to see a Mini with a Golden, Greyhound, or German Shepard in the passenger seat That would be so funny! Of course, once they start riding in a Mini, no other car will ever do

Lol, I'll have to upload the picture of Piper in my Mini. She's only allowed in the back seat, not the passenger seat.

We finally received our adventure kit Yah Ours came with a dice antenna ball. Nice to know we weren't forgotten.

Mrs. Jimmini, did you see a lot of mini's on your trip? We seem to have a lot per capita on the coast here.

I'll chime in here, we saw tons of Minis in the Monterey area and we did take a second drive into Santa Cruz and saw a bunch more. We were told that the Santa Cruz and Monterey areas have the highest concentrations of Minis in the USA I can belive that now. P.S...... again, thanks for dinner
