Anybody else in Week 19 (2009)?
Hi Jessica... sorry - thought you were Lacy! My mistake..
Yep, you're 2 or 3 towns over.. and yes, blueberries come out soon - Maine blueberries are to die for!
Hope to bump into you (not literally
) on a Mini adventure around town!
(PS - if you've not thought about dedicated snow tires, you might want to keep them in the back of your mind in the coming months.. though if you take the train to work, you might not care much..)

Erin, I was Lacy. I recently requested a username change to match all of my other usernames on MINI forums. So it's still me. I created the lacynpiper username over a decade ago and I've outgrown it. Plus both Lacy, my evil cat, and Piper, my much loved Golden Retriever, have died so my username was a sad reminder of them both.Snow tires have been added to the budget this fall. Those, winter clothes, and plane tickets for Christmas are my big ticket items. I've been taking the bus, or rather two buses, to work every day. Thus far, it's working relatively well. It isn't ideal but it sure beats dealing with traffic and parking downtown. I may switch to the commuter rail later on if I get fed up with the buses.
I hope that I see you around! I'm not driving much so I seem to see far more MINIs while waiting for the bus or riding the bus than when I'm actually driving. It would be kind of odd for me to wave to my fellow motorists when I'm not driving.
We still have both ours
My hubbies is a lifer, to modded to sell, but mine is going strong, 32,000 miles. Am going to have to make a decision before its out of warranty though, either get an extended one, or sell it and do something else? Can't be without a warranty on these cars.
I plan on keeping mine until it becomes more expensive to maintain than its worth. My family generally keeps our cars for a really long time. Our Suburban is at well over 200k and is 10 years old. The previous Suburban was 13 and nearly 300k when we finally traded it in for the current one. Our Civic has 200k as well and is 12 years old. I'm hoping that mine will last that long or at least last long enough for me to pay off my student loans. Mine's a solid, little tank at 42,000 miles!
Mrs Jiminni, would you get another MINI or something different?
