Other week 14ers out there?
I think we are, but not sure. Ordered new MCS Convertible last Saturday. Already in production with VIN on Monday - in paint shop on Tuesday. She is supposed to transport to the port early next week. Is this current week, WEEK 14? Thanks!
Yep! This is the end of week 14. I checked the shipping report and it looks like the Integrity is docking in Southampton tomorrow. Hopefully mine will make it in time for that shipment. Looks like that ship only goes to Charleston and Brunswick, Ga but I dont know for certain.
I'm hoping I'm on that one too, I keep compulsively putting my VIN in their Cargo Tracking page but so far no info. I'm really hoping I'm on that one because that would mean I could take delivery on one of my weeks off and just spend a few days breaking it in.
Looks like it docked in Zebrugge, Belgium today and will be stopping in Southampton tomorrow. Mine should be coming to the Charleston port anyway so I hope I make this one. Would be nice so my car isnt sitting at the docks for a week or two.

Mine left on the Don Pasquale on Wednesday. The ship's schedule says that it will arrive in NY on the 11th, but my MA emailed me saying that it will be in Port Jersey on the 15th. He went on to say that it will be only be a few more days until it arrives at the dealership (Inskip in RI), so the soonest I could see it would be the 18th. Im wondering if he included the time that it will be at the BMW Vehicle Distribution Center.
My Cooper Convertible finished production on March 30th. I believe that makes me a Week 13 production car. I know it is at the port, and has been since March 31st. I have not seen any updates on the WW site indicating I am being shipped, although a ship does leave today (April 4th) I hope to be on it.

Greetings: I believe we are week 13. I hope we left on the Integrity for Charleston yesterday. No tracking info as of yet. I was hoping for the Don Pasquale on 4/1.
The tracking info links given on this site are fantastic. We actually were able to hear live radio transmissions between the Integrity and the harbormaster as they were first docking. WOW....how the Internet has changed the world.
I hope our car does not get on a K-Line. Tracking and even schedules do seem difficult to figure out.
Anyone check out the really neat satellite photos of where the Minis are loaded at Southampton? When the Integrity docked, we zoomed in that area. At the time the sat photo was taken, there is clearly a large Mini parking deck with many Mini's on the roof. (Gee I hope our Mini is being stored on an inside deck).
BTW....Google will find you many other live tracking sites of your "shipping vessel" as it crosses the Atlantic.
Here's to hoping that our new Mini made it on the Integrity. W&W does not have another Charleston bound vessel until 4/11. K-Line I
have no clue what there schedule is or means.

More Hope for Week 13/14 Minis heading to Charleston
Just an FYI. After feeling disappointed from believing that our Mini did not make it on the Integrity (4/4 sail date), we discovered that the MIGNON may be heading to Charleston, SC on April 7th from Southampton. While the W&W schedule does not currently (as of 4/5/09) indicate the Mignon stops at Charleston; reverse tracking with the Charleston Port Authority (CPA) will show that the Integrity is NOT scheduled to dock there (contrary to the W&W schedule) either. The CPA schedule does indicate that it is expecting the Mignon on 4/21/09 which leaves Southampton on 4/7/09.

Why the conflicting information? Considering the fact that I have worked at UPS for over 30years, it would not be unusual to think that W&W is trying to maximize (tweak) their shipping loads due to the temporary slowdown of the economy. I must say, tracking our Mini is much more fun than tracking packages.
Regardless, I hope our Mini does not sit at the Southampton docks much longer. I thinks is starting to get lonely for its' mommy
(my wife)........
My wife ABSOLUTELY LOVES Mini Coopers. (same with our daughter)....how could I ever win in a house with two females loving a car this much
. Hmmm just give in an buy one
As they say......if mama ain't happy....nobody's happy.... besides....dad likes them a little also considering both my German and British heritage

That is interesting the Mignon is scheduled with the Charleston Port Authority. I noticed the Integrity wasnt scheduled but didnt notice the Mignon is. I'm hoping this is true and the Mignon will be stopping in Charleston. Guess we'll know by Tuesday.
I did a search on just "WMWM%" on the W&W tracking site, which as far as I can tell should cover all Minis, and so far in their database a single Mini was loaded onto the Integrity. So it's still possible that they are slow updating their database.
I guess we'll see in a few days if they do manage to update their tracking information. I hope if it's not on that one it does get on the Mignon, I really want to take delivery in April so I can take advantage of the financing offers (and because waiting till may would make my brain explode).

Good News from Southampton?
Well....possible good news for us Mini soon 2 B owners whose cars are sitting at the Southampton docks. I just checked and K-Line's Georgia Highway is now sitting at the Mini loading mooring area (4/6/09 @8:30 EST). Checking K-Lines schedule

you will see this schedule. Notice that the Georgia Hwy is at Southampton today and scheduled to be at Charleston on 4/15/09.:

Whoo! I am booked on the Mignon. Is it set to arrive at Southampton on April 7th, and will arrive in Brunswick, GA on April 20th. I hope to take delivery by May 1st. Also does anyone know if BMW/MINI moved their operations out from North Carolina? The last MINI I ordered came into the VPC There.
Here are some Vessel specifics for anyone who may be sharing the cruise with me.
Name: Mignon
Information: http://www.vesseltracker.com/en/Ship...n-9189251.html
Looks like it does not have any current tracking information, the last received was from 2007, maybe that will be updated soon.

Congrats!!!!! Just one question.....how did you find out that your booked on the Mignon before it arrived at Southampton? The Mignon is currently moored at Zeebrugge.

I plugged my VIN in on the W&W Site under Cargo ID. It shows as booked as of (3/20) and scheduled for pickup on 4/7.
Well the Integrity now shows up on the Charleston port schedule. I see a few cars on the Mignon but not many. Wonder how accurate that list is considering the Mignon's maximum capacity is 7200 cars(whoah).
I've been spending way too much time on the W&W site lately, and as far as I can tell there hasn't been a single Mini bound for Charleston on either of the last 2 boats (Integrity or Mignon). Somehow we got skipped completely.
I emailed my MA and he said my car is still waiting for a boat.

That makes me very curious what is going on. Considering the size of those two vessels I cant imagine they are having shipping capacity issues, especially considering the economic downturn. Guess we dont have any choice but to hope it gets on a ship soon.

I thought I had a complete handle on this Mini tracking. I somehow got caught up in tracking also. I never thought I would become impatient, especially when I was informed from the beginning that it would take 7-8 weeks to get our Mini (order 3/14). I became overly hopeful since our Mini completion date (3/27) and port arrival date (3/31) preceded the Integrity voyage date (4/4) from Southampton to Charleston. Seems easy enough for me to drive our Mini right on to that big boat. Our first (2005) Mini was "dealer designed" and was already on the ship when I called about buying one at the end of June 05. I didn't want to wait 8 weeks to custom order one then. It was so close to what we wanted that I simply bought it "as is". The only difference was that it had the "Sport Package" that we did not care for at the time (very rough added suspension)
The thing that puzzles
me the most is that I thought it would be the "production" wait that would take the longest. Different color lines, etc.. Never did I think that our Mini would sit at the docks while ships (the Integrity for example) were departing, destined for our port of entry (Charleston, SC....) I feel that the 866-Ask-Mini line SHOULD know what shipping lines our car is going to be booked on. I feel that being passed off to your MA is just that....passing you off. Not all MA's are created equal
in their zest to find out or give you information.I did read in the MiniUSA Owners Lounge that if you get a "Bill of Lading" number from your MA, you can also check with K-Line to see if your Mini is scheduled on one of their ships. Apparently they use the Bill of Lading number for their tracking instead of VIN's.
Yes, somehow and for some reason, all of us Charleston, SC Mini's are being passed by......just "Sitting at the Dock of the Bay.......watching the ships roll in "..
.... http://www.traditionalmusic.co.uk/fo...of_the_Bay.htmTake Care......our Mini's will show up here soon...
