Dude! I'm taking delivery in Denver as well!
Say "hi" to Julie (my MA) for me, as I'm sure you'll pick yours up first.

No way! From Schomp too? Very cool - are you in CO or coming from somewhere else?
I'm hoping to pickup on 2/28 since I live about an hour and half from the dealer.

Before I fly in, I'll have to wait until Schomp gets the car and makes sure nothing is obviously wrong with the order. Then I'll drive back down here. Gives me a chance to make a vacation out of it, and visit some friends in Denver and New Mexico.
Arrrrrrrrrrgh! Looks like Scooter is on one of those ships that can't be tracked (Kline)! It's due to arrive in South Carolina on the 20th of Feb. For some reason, I've been unable to find the ship's Call Sign. I've checked EVERYWHERE.
Guess, I'll just have to be patient and be surprised when my dealer calls.

what's your VIN?
I guess the VIN only helps for WW, not K-Line.
In any case, it looks like you're on the Southern Highway, call sign 3EOJ8

That's actually the escape pod.
Good Evening, I figured I'd update everyone our Mini is having it's windows tinting tomorrow, Although motoring is quite enjoyable the Florida sun is way to bright for my eyes. I hope all who have their vehicle are enjoying them and If your still waiting I wish you a fast delivery. I think it would be pretty cool if all of us week three production members would continue to post photos of their vehicles upon delivery as well as any modifications. I'll post photos of the tinting ASAP. Take Care.... Happy Motoring.

Well, the MINI has continued to leak and smoke. I brought into our local BMW dealer this afternoon so they could take a look. The gasket to the upper oil pan has a small leak. Our dealer is going to bring us a loaner and pick up our MINI to repair it. At least we don't have to make the 90 mile drive back to the dealer. The dealer more or less blew us off when we first reported the problem the day after we bought it. At least they are taking action now. I'll keep you all posted. It's a bummer we were planning to show him off this weekend, and we will have the loaner instead.
CooperDreams,
Sorry to hear the bad news, the original thought of cosmoline was correct in that it does cause the car to smoke a bit for a day or two. but I don't think anyone would have suspected a gasket leak. Wishing you a fast repair and turnaround.
Everyone else, My appointment for the window tinting needed to be scheduled until Tuesday, so no pictures yet. - Mark

Thanks Mark. Can't wait to see your pics once the windows are tinted. I am sure everything will work out well. I am sold on this car, so this is just a bump in the road for me. But, my husband doesn't share in my obsession. He likes the car, but is understandably frustrated.
TempoHouse.... Keep your money for a mod or 2... Pacific Breeze got stuck ~40 hours at Panama.... Fedora will be stuck ~80... She should cross the canal by the time PB hits Port Nueneme...
Ain't it sad to find personal relief to know others will have to wait some more?? hehehe
