Caribbean Highway is now docked at Baltimore. Amazing...... you can see it from a satellite photo. Joshua is now on U.S. waters...... One day early !!!

 

Just got a call from my MA. My ship (Courage) has landed in NY and I guess I was at the front of the boat because its already in processing in the VDC and could be here (DC) as early as Monday night or Tuesday morning. Wow!

The wait has been painful but now its finally here its like Christmas day when you were like 5 years old!

I'm taking a wild guess here and I think my car's going to be on the Madame Butterfly scheduled to leave on 11/25! He's sitting at the dock right now according to a nice customer relations rep I spoke with today! Yay!

The only thing is whenever I type in my VIN into the search function on the cargo website it doesn't bring anything up, sooo... who knows, really? But the fact that it's at the dock makes me so excited and antsy!!

My Clubman S was aboard the Maersk Wind and arrived in NY on Sunday 11/16. Mini of Annapolis (Maryland) had it on Wednesday 11/19 and I will be picking it up on Saturday 11/21. The whole process moved a lot faster than I expected

Is it just me or does it scare anyone else that a user by the name "U-2" is tracking ships.....

So, Captain Ron, my little mini, is indeed booked on the Madame Butterfly, departing on 11/25. It'll be in California on 12/16.... Mini for Christmas?! I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

So from what I understand when it reaches California it's going to be put on a truck and driven up to the Pacific Northwest... anyone have more information for me? I've been looking through threads as far as other people who have experienced the same thing and I'm wondering what their timeframe was.

 

Yes, it is ging to be delivered by a truck from LA to your area. A friend of mine's transportation time to the dealership back in Summer was pretty quick - few days. Not sure how typical this is.

Did you happen to check the WW tracking site to see what time it was discharged from the boat? The reason I ask is because I checked this morning online and my MINI was discharged at 11:00 on Thursday, so I'm hoping that if it was around the same time as you that it will get on a truck to CT so I can have it early next week.

 

My mini was discharged at 11AM too. Either we all got lucky and got discharged the same time, or it's just the time that WW opened up the cargo hold.

 

Joshua is now at VDC... Dang !! Just few more days.....

 

Tristan isn't due to dock in CA now until 12/04. It is being delayed just to drive us crazy.

 

I have been lurking around for the last 5 or 6 weeks, watching as our MINI's are built and shipped. I have a Lazer Blue Clubman in SC along with Scooner8. My MA says delivery to Omaha on the 29th. If it gets there early, I could get it that day. I don't believe them, and really expect it on Monday the 1st. Can't wait.

 

Could be. According to ASK-MINI, mine is now in-transit and the OL says that my estimated delivery date is 11/22 (yesterday) - I'm hopeful that my MA will call and tell me that my car is ready to be picked up tomorrow... the waiting is driving me insane.

 

Order tracking site show estimated delivery to my dealer : 11/24/08 !! That's tomorrow !!

 

I just checked and it cleared the DC and should be at the dealer today!? Woo Hoo! One problem. I leave for the west coast tomorrow. So I wont be able to pick it up till mid to late next week. ( I wasn't expecting it till Dec 3 so it's kind of early! LOL

Guess my next post will be asking what I should inspect for.
