Called 866-ASK-MINI today... my car is currently in paint shop with an estimated completion date of 11/7 which is tomorrow! Yay!!

My Clubman left port on 11/6/08 aboard the Maersk Wind and will arrive at the VDC in NY/NJ on 11/14.

My neighbor picked up his Clubman earlier this week, so I guess I won't be the first on the block to have one! (and we have a really small neighborhood so it's pretty funny that they will be two)

We made the Tristan.

The Ask Mini line can no longer track us, but our VIN came up in the WW auto cargo site.

 

Mine made the Tristan!! I'll be traveling for work for the next two week so Dec. hopefully will come quick.

 

Just finishing QC checks and then on the train to the big boat! I feel fortunate that we live on the east coast (DC) cause according to my best math I can probably have the car by end of november!

 

Mine is now sitting in Southampton waiting for the Courage to arrive so it can make the voyage to NY. Anybody else here on the Courage?

My particular piece of british invasion is booked on the Courage. Scheduled to set sail from Southampton Docks on the 11th ariving in Jersey on the 17th.

I got my VIN # through mini lounge last saturday Nov 1st. Does this mean I'm week 45? Current status is still scheduled for production. Have never called ASK yet.

 

I got my VIN the 31st. And it's already through the system. My best guess is yours is done too.

 

Just called ask mini and yes, the car production is complete and waiting for the carrier. So it looks like web tracking reflects status with delays.

 

Just checked online, my clubman has been assembled and is now waiting for transport! YEAH!

Well, my pepper white Clubman S, born November 2nd, 2008 has left port and is headed 244 degrees toward home at 17 knots. It is a healthy 2,900 pound baby. I just can't believe how excited I am.

 

I feel like mine did not make it up to Tristan. Oh well, next transport I guess.

I am not good in waiting. I could shop online for something for weeks with no rush at all, but once placed an order - can't wait.

The Courage is currently docked and loading up... so glad it's first stop is NYC, but it looks like it's delayed a few days from the original schedule. Hopefully, I'll still have my car by Thanksgiving.

I really didn't think my MINI would make the Tristan (she/he was born on 11/09), but according to the web site MINI is on the ship. Aaaaarg. I am SO bad at waiting. If it wasn't for this site I would be going crazy
In the meantime, Aestheticreations is checking into doing some custom side mirror caps (not the actual caps, some vinyl stickers) in Chili Red and Black Union Jack. I'll add a matching Roof Vinyl later.

My husband's Clubman has been at the port awaiting a shipping vessel for a full week now I'm hoping that it gets on the Courage. Has anyone's car shown up on tracking for the Courage yet?

 

I see that the Maersk Wind was supposed to get into NY/NJ port on Thursday but now it won't be arriving until Sunday 11/16 that is a bummer, that happened to me when we ordered my first MINI
