May it be that customs arrives at the ship in advance, before it actually arrives to the port?

 

My tracking doesn't say anything like that yet. I'll keep checking. It is driving me crazy that the arrival date keeps changing.

 

Panama Canal Miraflores Locks were under maintenance Nov. 18-27, may be that caused the delay.

 

Tristan finally arrived at Port Hueneme!!!!!!!!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yahoooo. Can't wait to meet my MINI. Will arrive in Denver on Dec. 15.

 

Falstaff have sailed from Port Hueneme. So, my MINI finally arrived on California soil!

 

Mine should be on California soil as well. Unless they forgot to unload them.

 

Have anybody from Tristan/Falstaff got a call from the dealer yet?

 

I have e-mailed my sales person, but did not get any response back yet. Honestly, with Tristan being delayed I think we might expect late week delivery at the earliest.

P.S. I mean SF Bay Area.

U-2 Have you heard anything from East Bay Mini yet? Am back East and won't be back to the Bay Area until the 11th; so even if they call me i can't pick it up until the 12th. :/

 

I've asked (via e-mail) my MA today how long will it take for the car to get from VDC to them. His response was 5-10 days and he'll let me know as soon as VDC gives him a delivery date.

 

I just checked the status on mini lounge - my car is at distribution center with an estimated delivery date of 12/11! I guess I'm calling my MA tomorrow!!

what the heck?!?! I just checked my OL site and mine is 12/14. You were on the Falstaff and I was on the Tristan, Yet I have my dealer arrival is later. Estimated delivery is to the dealer and not to me correct? Because I have sport stripes to put on. So mine probably won't be ready until 12/16?

 

I you sure that your dealer will put the stripes on and not VDC?

 

OL site changed estimated delivery to 12/11.

 

I checked my OL again after reading your post. Mine got changed to 12/10.

In fact I called my MA today and he confirmed my car just arrived the dealership. He'll call me with the grand total tomorrow morning and schedule a pickup time with me. I guess I'm gonna pick it up on Friday!

 

My MA called last night. I can pick up my car today. Huge problem. I am right in the middle of changing my name to my married name. Everything is a mess. I have to go get my new license today. I hope it all goes smoothly with the bank. We also only currently have one car and my husband doesn't have a license yet (he's a bike rider and hasn't even driven in 5 years-he still wouldn't except I'm sick of driving him when he needs a ride and now he wants his own MINI). So anyway, we live an hour away from the dealer so I'll need to rent a car to go get the MINI. This will be a long day and I hope it all works out, but the end result will be worth the hassle. I hope everyone gets their cars soon.

 

12/11 update for me as well. Although sales in his yesterday e-mail didn't express anything particular yet.

 

Just talked to Kat at Mini of Murray in SLC , Utah. CoCo-GoGo has arrived, she is in the shop getting prepped and checked and we will pick her up Friday morning at 9:30!

I asked Kat if CoCo was as pretty in real life as all the pics, she responded 'Oh Yeah!'
