Click on "Track your Mini", then once the new page loads select the "Review Order Detail" page. Mine was completely wrong for a day or two after I placed my order.

It's pretty common for your "Order Details" to be wrong when you first see them. Mine were wrong for about two weeks or so. Apparently, they recycle the numbers and don't update them completely before they put it on the Owner's Lounge.

Sorry to crash, but I still haven't got my VIN yet, so I fear I may be joining you guys... (not that there is anything wrong with that!)

Checked OL today and looks like all my options are there now. Previously the arrow would not scroll down. Today it does and everything is listed. Could have been a MAC vs. PC issue, but we won't get into that here!

Thanks. Duh. How did I miss that. Everything's there except Sirius, which I added a day ago. I'll make sure it gets updated next week.

Aye bluemeanie, make sure it appears there in the next few days or so, otherwise it won't be put in. I added a few options to mine after the original order and it took a few days to show up but they eventually did.

Most of my order showed up correctly after two weeks or so EXCEPT for roof rails. They're still a no-show on the OL after five/six weeks. My MA faxed me the order sheet so I know that the rails are on order.

Not sure if anyone else has read this thread/sticky, but I found it to be very informative as far as tracking our "babies" through production and across the pond... check it out.

Welcome to week 37, Ron. I too was bumped from week 36. It's killing me. I do pop back in to the week 36 support thread from time to time and it was depressing me till I saw that quite a few of them are in the paint shop now. That's US in a week!

Yay, Satellite Radio is now showing up. woo.
It seems like they are speeding up production of the '09s, maybe they finished the last of the '08s faster than expected, or whatever. Hopefully the builders are well-rested from their vacay and not grumpy about being back at work

All right that's it...........no really...that is it........after adding the HiFi stereo I'm officially beyond budget busting. That and my MA said today is probably the last chance for changes, so I better make up my mind. I almost switched colors to CR/B to save $500.00. I like the CR/B (2nd choice), DS/B is the color I've had my eye on the whole time....oh except my short phase of B/B. Get ready folks our Mini's shall be built soon!!!!!!! Go Week 37!!!!!!!

Bout time!

And I was in the same boat, I was a heavy Lightning Blue lean, but liked the look of the JCW Factory cars as well, and when I mentioned this to someone they said "well you know, red will be alot easier to see, what with it being such a small car and all", and that was it for me. I switched to CR/B, and saved $500 at the same time.

But hey, it's a personal call for everybody.

Same goes for me. I first ordered SS/B (saw the color on a sunny day) and then I read a thread about a color change when it rains, supposed to looks kind of blah. We live in Washington State and unfortunately it rains here more then I like to admit. I actually went back to the dealer in a downpour just to see for myself. Well, my color choice changed to CR/B, I just wanted a color that makes me smile.

By the way, any news on the baby front?

I'm partial to the English oak myself

BTW, why do you think Production should start on the 8th? Most of the week 36 people had production started this week (August 25th). Are we starting later for some reason?

Nothing yet. Still in the factory, so to speak.

But that should change soon, probably within a week!

Does anyone know when the week 36'ers started getting thier notices on the OL that they were scheduled for production? Yeah, I keep compulsively checking the OL and it keeps telling me what I already know - on order and waiting to be scheduled for production

Not that I'm really obsessing about any of this.... it's just that I can hardly wait to see my CR/B MC.

From what I understand your production week is when the car is complete. So technically our cars should start this week and finish the sometime in the week of the 8th.

I'm a week 36er, but originally slated for week 37. Here's my timeline:

- Ordered: 8/2
- guessing here, but based on conversations with my MA, the dealer's manager put in my order on 8/9.
- Received production number on 8/9, but the order details were not accurate. I was told, the data was just a place holder and that it should become accurate within 72 hours. Called ask mini and their computer had the correct order. I was informed my production week was 37.
- Production number and all my options showed up on the OL correctly on 8/12.
- Called ask mini on 8/21, was informed my production week was now week 36 and I got my vin number. The customer relations guy clarified that my MINI would be completed (finished production) in week 36 (week of 9/1).
- Called ask mini on 8/26 and was informed that my MINI is IN production, with a completion date of 9/3. At this point I think the OL also updated from "on order" to "scheduled for production".

So for you Week 37 peeps, your MINIs will be IN PRODUCTION starting THIS WEEK.

It is getting pretty exciting. Just called ASK MINI, but they are closed on the weekend and probably Labor day too. Emailed my MA wedesday, still no answer back from him. (Kind of frustrating)!
By the end of this week the status should change, I hope anyways.
