My Clubman is a non-s. I'm trying to save gas and I figure even without the s, it's got to be a ton more fun to drive than what I'm driving now: 2000 Ford Winstar.
I used the money that I saved by not getting an s to get leather sport seats and premium package. I used the money from not getting the metalic paint to get comfort access.
In a perfect world, I would have gotten everything I ordered PLUS Nightfire Red and in an s. But the Pepper White is growing on me.

Clubman S
I will save on gas with the Clubman S w/JCW package upgradges because I currently drive an SUV that gets 12 miles mpg city and 16 mpg Highway. When it came down to ordering the cost difference between a regular Clubman and a S type did not stop me from upgrading to everything but the wood steering wheel, wood trim and cold package. This is my midlife crisis purchase so I customized and tweaked. I also went automatic versus standard. This is what I like about Mini. There could be a dozen sitting in a row and not one of them is going to be exactly the same. So, it really does get to be "your" Mini.

I'm a week 37 too, yay.
Lightning blue MCS with premium, cold, sport suspension, blue/black leather & cloth, a few more goodies.
Just added the better stereo and Sirius. Deciding whether comfort access is worth it. Too bad we can't get JCW on the agitronics in the states. I'll add exhaust & intake later on I imagine.
The new HiFi is not as good as the Harman Kardon the older models have, but I've heard a lot of complaints about the stock stereo. So I opted for the "better" one, which is probably not great either, but worth a shot.

I added the Hifi as well on my second to last upgrade. I read all the threads about it and many posters said it wasn't worth it. However, I went to the dealer and brought along my own cd to hear the difference. After hearing it for myself, there was no question that I HAD to add the hifi. It's noticably different. Listen for yourself and then decide.
For me, part of the driving experience is having a good tune on the stereo.

Just jumped back to the week 36 support group and most of them are saying they have VINs showing on the OL with production completion dates the first week of September (which would be the 36th week of the year). Everything I've been told by MINI is the production week is the week production is to START, but it looks like it is the week of completion!
Hang on, we're next!

I struggled with it because it was included with the premium package in '08's but now its $500 extra. I read enough threads and decided to suck it up and order it... hopefully its not too late.
I'm still just showing that I'm scheduled for production for week 37, but no vin #. Does anyone one have a vin # yet on OL or when talking with ask-mini?

If you order dealer installed options (i.e. I was thinking of getting Tuscan leather on my emergency brake) I'm not sure whether it would show or not. Your best bet would be to call your MA.
Also, did you get a "Vehicle Inquiry Report" from your dealer? This piece of paper describes in full detail your MINI of choice along with all its options. If you don't have it, call your MA and request it.

If some of your options aren't showing up on the Owner's Lounge I would definitely check with your MA. I sent my order through a configuration I made on miniusa.com, and for some reason the dealer missed one of the factory options I selected and it didn't show up on the Owner's Lounge. Being the naive person I am, I had previously signed off on the VIR without a second glance. If there are factory installed options you're missing, call.

Add me to the week 37 family! I placed my order last week and have checked with Ask Mini twice, both times was told that I am week 37. I had my production number the day after I placed my order and the Owner's Lounge reflected my exact order a few business days after that. This forum is the only thing that is making the wait bearable.

Count me in with the rest of you guys in the week 37 family. Ordered my MINI on 08/02 and even though I promised I wouldn't check the OL every day, I wound up looking twice a day.....finally called Ask MINI and found out that I'm scheduled for week 37. The wait is gonna kill me
I finally joined NAM after lurking for a bit and now feel like you are all a part of my support group. Come on week 37......

Thanks for the welcome! I ordered a BRG Cooper, white roof and mirror caps, and a Tuscan Beige interior. I opted for the cold weather package for the chilly Ohio winters. No changes yet, I made a lot of trips to my dealer to see and sit in combinations until I arrived at what I really wanted.
