OK, SuperGreg wins for having the most stuff ready for his MINI! (not that I don't also want valve stem caps, the rubber console insert, a keychain, mats, and a sunshade myself!) Which valve stem caps did you get? I want the UJ ones, or else the checkered. Can't quite decide.

One more day - last call!

I quick check of the WW site does not show any vehicles as being "Unloaded". I have no idea if they will even list that information, i'll have to check again later to see if there are any updates.

The WW site doesn't even show that the vessel has cleared Port Hueneme yet. The Scheduled Arrival for 8/11 is stil black instead of red font.

Oh good, everybody's just as antsy as I am! I was thinking about our MINIs getting off the boat all morning. And just as I went out for a quick break at work, what should I see parked in front of work, but a PW/B R56 Justacooper with a sunroof and sports stripes! It was a bit dusty; I almost thought my car had motored itself here to see me! But no, just one of the many, many MINIs in SF.

I'm sure we're at the dock, if not already off the boat (who knows how many other cars were on this cruise with us?) and at the VDC.

...the Turandot has a maximum capacity of 5846 cars! now, that's probably 6989 MINIs....anyone wants to guess?

I thought there were 350 mini's onboard. On the WW site, if you search by booking # you can get a list of all the MINI VINs. It comes out to about 350 I believe.

I'm not sure how many BMWs and other makes are onboard, that could up the count.

a girl i work with told me that it would come next week. she had somehow missed the new that i am getting a mini, and was surprised at lunch today when she asked me if i was ever gonna get a new car. (next week we are scheduled to work, but not very hard so it would be a good week to just 'Get out')

The Port Hueneme Vessel schedule lists the Turandot as scheduled to come in today. It also has a breakdown of cargo onboard.

http://www.portofhueneme.org/documen...0808140218.pdf

It reads out as 742/veh/177/hh/408/bmw/350/mini/7/rr/wwl/pac

I'm not sure what all that means, but I think it translates to 408 BMWs, 350 MINIs, and 7 Rolls Royce. Any ideas on what "hh" could be???

I also thought 742/veh meant 742 vehicles total, but the numbers don't add up (unless a couple went overboard)

So, I talked to my MA and I gotta tell you I am not so happy. He does not know the average timing for our MINIs to be processed at the VDC. 2/3 days or 2/3 weeks...

The window tint: $275 for regular window tint. Upgraded "Made in Germany" window tint will cost $475 and best quality tint will cost $675 . ARE WE KIDDING? 500 to 700 bucks for window tint? Is anybody out there spending this kind of money for window tint?

LoJack: $695 installed...maybe some other day!

Floor Mats: A set of 4 carpet mats $105 and I could not get the MA to say "I'll trow them in". I even told him MINI dealerships out there are giving them out for free...he says "...but some dealers sell those cars at MSRP + markup".

Am I the only one that paid straight MSRP?

All this is not cool at ALL!

I paid MSRP minus $250 for being a costco member. I did pay the prep fee, which included wash/wax, floormats, tank of gas for $175.
So I guess all in all $75 bucks off MSRP and free mats.

Those window tint prices are crazy. I'm getting clearbra and tinted windows for $695.

My guy said 5-10 days to get to the dealer.. He told me this a couple of weeks ago.
I paid MSRP and no mats. I bought the mats from Morristown Mini for $75.
I'm getting the $275 tint job. I'll shop for other local prices tomorrow.
Greg

How do you know if your car is still on it? The WW tracker?
