Stephie's Mini,
I checked out the venture shield web site and had them send me a free sample. Thanks

I'm on your ship too

It looks like the ship will come into port on the 11th... can't wait. I hope it will be at the dealer by the 15th - I'm ready for a weekend road trip.

Since we're now in the sunny Pacific, let's put our tops down (Janet), sunroofs open, and windows open if you don't have a sunroof! I'm catchin' some rays before I get to foggy SF!

I am going to keep my sunroof closed...here in AZ we'll get plenty of sun anyway.

But if the next round is on SuperGreg I'll gladly take a Margarita...I am sure I can sip some of it before I crush belly down on the floor

Once the MINIs are at the Distribution Center how long does it usually take for them to be shipped out? Anybody knows?

I checked that website and the clear bra looks like a really cool product. So, would that run around $450?

It depends on who your dealer uses for it and how much they charge, or you could do it independently by finding a place on your own to get it done.

We've hit our final week on the cruise! To celebrate we should all join jgarner53 for a few margaritas.

"Excuse me? Excuse me, senor? May I speak to you please? I asked for a mai tai, and they brought me a pina colada, and I said no salt, NO salt for the margarita, but it had salt on it, big grains of salt, floating in the glass... "

While we are enjoying the drinks.. here's a bird's eye view of Port Hueneme http://maps.live.com/default.aspx?v=...cl=1&encType=1

Can't they put like a giant canopy instead of leaving the poor guys bake in the sun?

Looks like it is the TURANDOT that is docked at the port in the photo. The vessel name is not visible from any of the angles, but I know that the TURANDOT is green. In about a week, our babies will be together one last time before they head home.

On further zooming out, I see a ton of what appear to be VDCs for other cars. I have been trying to find the BMW/MINI one, but no luck. Do any of you see them?

I bet $450 is a pretty good guess. If you put in your city and state on the website it will tell you who the authorized installers are in your area.

janet i would recommend some 303 aerospace stuff for your convertible top, but you would have to put the top up first to apply it, and we can't have that. now BostonJohn, don't go all Milton on the place till i get off the boat! waiter! another rumrunner for me and whatever janet is drinking, make it a double!
