hi guys! I finally found the right thread. My Cooper S is supposed to be traveling with yours. I don't know the exact birtdhay but it was born between 7/14 and 7/18. Do people refer to their MINIs as he or she? Anyway, tracking Turandot from the UK to near Baltimore was easy and fun...but I have been looking everywhere and Turandot is nowhere to be found since 7/27. I also checked on ais3.siitech.net website but no Turandot. How are you guys getting the updates? Anyway looking forward to post and read more on this thread....CIAO

Hey, another passenger on the boat! Race ya around the deck!

Oh, to answer your question, my MC is a boy. Many people find that their MINI is the opposite of their sex; some don't; some wait for their MINI to let them know. After I built him, I just knew he was a boy. Just waiting to name him until after I meet him.

Driving lights are the extra lamps that you can purchase to add to your MINI (either through your dealer or add aftermarket). They usually augment your highbeams. (see my sig for what they look like)

Nice color choice, btw. Did you get a black roof, or PW?

DS/B stands for dark silver with a black roof (only avail. on MCS models) other color abbreviations:
CR = chili red
NFR = nightfire red
BRG = british racing green
SS = sparkling silver
TS = true silver
LB = lightning blue
OB = oxygen blue
MY = mellow yellow
AB = astro black

and hey, why am I the only one racing around the deck of the ship! Get out of the cocktail lounge and join me! Or if no one will, scoot over and make a place for me at the bar!

Well, see, no, SuperGreg, I didn't see you because I was just coming up behind you after lapping you.

Last one to the Lido deck's a Ford Focus! (Do love that white silver color, too, janet - wish it were available on MC's)

yup, the WW site has been updated

I still can't see Turandot on aisLive

On a good note though, I recevied an email from MINI this morning about customizing AM/FM radio stations, doors locking, auto lights, key fob opening driver door or all doors, etc... That was fun and unexpcted

Anyway, back to racing on the deck...I do not want to be the Focus's guy

glucaaz_MINIMIA, I got the same email a few days ago.

And today my MA emailed to let me know that she's arranged for my vinyl graphics to be installed before I pick him up. They don't do it at my dealer so a local installer will pick Travis up, attire him in fresh checkerboard, and bring him back to Rasmussen for me. AND! He should be ready by the end of the month!!!!!

My MA emailed me today and asked what type of license plate I want and also asked if I want to purchase the protective clear bra. Is anyone else considering a bra? Perhaps some of you runners wish you had a sports bra right now Anyhow, the cost is about $900. I hate to spend any more money! Any thoughts?

I just now noticed that . Has anyone been able to spot the Turandot and it's location on a map lately? It is due to arrive in Panama today. Personally, I want to disembark the ship and take a little excursion for some snorkeling. Anyone else interested?

WAYYYYYY too much money for the clear bra! I would skip it.
What are your options on the "type" of license plate?

The options on the license plate is the picture (mountain and trees-which is standard, Crater lake, salmon, or cultural with a face.) I don't care much for any of them, so I think I will go with the standard tree one. Thanks for the advice on the bra.
