Looks like the Turandot has stopped in the middle of the Atlantic; what gives?

It just hasn't updated position since midnight on 7/27. I doubt it's stopped dead. Could be sitting in port for all we know. (WW's site hasn't updated its arrival either).

I can't believe we've already been aboard the Turandot for 10 days. Still the wait seems forever...

I have read here that people that have them say 21mm should only be used for track, and that even the 19mm should be set at the lowest or least tense setting. I guess it just makes it "skip" across bumps, and will throw the back end around if no traction control is used.

Now where is our ship?

i keep asking the same thing. i'm being optimistic and saying the it doesn't track the ship while in port, and the sites are slow to update over the weekend.
i made an error. i'm after the 19mm bar. i was going to go with the sport package but decided i could do a bigger ASB then in the package and truly nice aftermarket rims (and tires) for less then $1500. i have heard the concerns about the ASB making the car too hard core, but i drive like a banshee especially in the twisties! if it sucks i can take it off and ebay it or sell it to some other fine NAMer.

Hopefully you got the LSD then? I will look forward to your report on the ASB if and when you get it. You may be right about the ship not being tracked while in port. I'm sure it's in Baltimore as we speak.

Good for you. We'll give a full LSD writeup after we get ours. I have yet to find a good review on it. Some say more torque steer, others say less. No one has really talked about how well it pulls out of the corners. I'll test that out for sure

NOPE, it's mechanical, not electronic.

The Turandot has already left Baltimore and on its way to the Canal. On the WW site clicking on the route shows Baltimore in RED which means departed.

Great to know, thanks. This from the 1st gear thread: "You can however follow your ship through the Atlantic (until Halifax, NS or the Panama Canal whichever is first) using a very helpful website SAILWX (http://www.sailwx.info)."

Maybe someone can come up with another tracker to find our ship? I know someone here has a ship tracking account, can't remember who she was though Hey, we have light at the end of the tunnel

...and I was still posting at the Week 29 support group while my fellow passengers have been here.

Sorry to break the bad news. Looks like the Turandot was delayed in Baltimore by a day. It left port about 3 hours ago, but still in Chesapeake bay. Use this to track real time: http://ais3.siitech.net/VTSLite/AView.aspx. First search for the TURANDOT and then switch to Google Maps view (dark blue icon at the top). It will plot the current location (updated 10 min ago!!)

Don't know if WW's site has reflected that change, but it still shows the Turandot hitting the Panama Canal on the 2nd and PH on the 10th.

OK, who was partying onshore in Baltimore and made the boat late???

Hi Janet, I'm Greg, I'm the one that made the ship late leaving Baltimore. I decided to leave the ship to test out my LSD, and my 10 minute test drive turned into 6 hours . I promise I'll behave for the rest of the cruise. I am getting a poker game together this evening on the Lido deck if you are interested .

btw, nice car, SuperGreg! People will think we're related or something. Good thing you have the PW roof and roof stripes to help them tell us apart!

Thanks, true dat. Roof stripes will not happen right away now as neither the VDC or my dealer will install them :(
