Yes I finally did find out he came in late Friday night. I stopped by my dealer on Saturday for a visit and finally saw him. He was awaiting detailing and final prep. I am supposed to pick him up on Monday afternoon. I will post some pics when he gets home.

 

Just checked with the marinetraffic website. The Caribbean Highway has left Baltimore on its way to Charleston. It appears to be one day ahead of schedule. It was supposed to have docked in Baltimore today, but got there yesterday afternoon. It was originally scheduled to dock in Charleston on the 31st, but maybe it will get there a day earlier as well.

I'm thinking of Baeg Mac as a name.

Picked up my Clubman today.

Congrats to all of my fellow week 26'ers who have received their cars! Thanks to those of you who have posted pictures!!

I will be picking mine up tomorrow (Thursday) finally! It's been "lost" in my own city for the last week... After making it across the Atlantic on the Elektra, a train ride across most of Canada, the railcar made it to Calgary last Monday (July 21st).

So, all assumed it was offloaded from the railcar, sitting in the rail yard, waiting for transport to the dealership. No go. Car was not delivered to the dealer. Car was not in the rail yard lot. We finally confirmed that the car had been sitting in the railcar still and was only offloaded this week.

It arrived at the dealership yesterday, and I will pick her up after work tomorrow. Phew!

Looking forward to joining the motoring crowd soon!!

 

Finally... the waiting is over. Our Clubby is home!

Wheels, stripes, clearbra and roof spoiler go on in a few weeks, when we're back from vacation.

Picked up my S today. 5 1/2 weeks from ordering. Can't complain about the time, which was a few weeks earlier than anticipated. Still learning all the toggles and switches. Joy to drive. Baeg, by the way, is Gaelic for little.
