Okay, lemme ast you sumpin: Your MA told you that you're on the Patriot; if you search at the WW website, does it come up there too?
Yes. If you go to the WW site, "Customer Center" drop down menu and select "Cargo Tracking", then select "Auto Cargo" and input your VIN (letters in caps) your car should show up.

Hope you make it aboard!
Thanks. It ain't looking good. Not showing up at WW, and it's been at the port since Tuesday, I think. Maybe it went on the K Line ship today, but I wouldn't know, since my MA's not much help.
I was told yesterday that I was scheduled for Week 29, but found out today via the automated line that I'm in production and scheduled for completion on 7/17. MINI customer services likes to keep you on your toes.

Sorry to hear that....It is a shame that your MA isn't much help as MiniUSA seems to lag significantly during this part of the process. My online status still says mine is "awaiting transport", but the ship was scheduled to leave Saturday. Hopefully yours is indeed on the K-line vessel where status is difficult to track online...you might want to try to call them at their Customer Service number to see if they can track it by your VIN. Keep the faith!
OL site shows my MINI awaiting transport and will probably be on the Turandot, arriving at Port Hueneme on Aug 9 (looking at WW's schedule, it's the next boat for the west coast), probably having a few pints in the bar at the docks, along with hoonu's MINI before it can get on the boat.

My Mini was loaded onto the "Isolde" on the 10th of July headed for Port Hueneme, Ca, can't find the ship on the tracker web page any one know or have an educated guess when it should sail/arrive in the good ole' USA?
Mine has moved to a status of awaiting transport. It was ordered 6/13/08 (grabbed an existing clubman slot.) We started production on the 5th of July and was completed 12th of July. Assigned to a truck on the 12th. Status code of 182 "released to carrier." I guess I'm waiting for a ship to be assigned/etc. When I called ask mini, they said it "might" already be at the port but they couldn't tell. My port is Brunswick, GA (Port Loc = SSIPOA). Ultimately it is going to Palm Harbor, FL (think Clearwater.) My new MA (without "promising") is telling me it should ...based on his experience....hit port the 29th and be at the dealership 1st week of August. Considering my DOB is Aug 5th...that would be the present. Do you guys think that is doable? Do they do the stripes at the Dist center...adding time?
My MA told me that with the install of my driving lights and the sports stripes, to expect my car to be at the VDC for about a week. If you're just getting stripes, it probably won't take quite as long. I think it's entirely possible you could get your car around your birthday - maybe not exactly ON your birthday, but that just extends the birthday fun, right?
For those certified in reverse engineering...can you determine which boat I may be on to back into the 29 July arrival date in Brunswick? I can't seem to find it.
thanks
Peter
