Hello everyone!
I have had my new '08 MCS CR/WR black stripes for 3 days now. I have never had a car that makes my heart flutter, and puts butterflys in my tummy every time I look at it! I come up with every excuse to go to the store now.- I don't have enough time to read this forum What's happening to me???- Does this happen to other mini owners and will this obsession subside? I hope not.

 

I'll let ya know when it subsides, if it ever does...I just picked mine up today. I have to go look at it again, maybe I'll have to go somewhere too. I think we're getting low on toilet paper. I better go to the store and get some just to make sure we're covered!

Welcome ChiliBomb. After 3 1/2 years and 100,000 miles I still step into the garage and think "I can't believe this thing is mine!"

 

I know the feeling. I play poker on-line a lot of nights. Before the MINI, if I missed dinner because of a late game, I'd simply wait until morning to eat. Now It gives me an excuse to go out and get something. I think I've put on about 10 pounds since I got my car.

I've had my MINI 13 months now and still feel the same way about it. I've never had this much fun motoring, and never felt this obsessed about a car. Motor On.

 

This is my second MINI...first was an early '03 Cooper. I was totally obsessed then. It's worse now with my '07. I still park at my favorite restaurant so I can gaze at my MINI (and yes, everybody knows why I sit where I do), and park right below my bedroom window for the same reason. With MINIs obsession is a value-added thing, I guess.

 

Sounds like we'll just have to learn to live with this heart condition! We will be going on our 1st "real" motoring adventure tomorrow- the Blue Ridge Parkway from Boone, NC to Cherokee, NC. Great...Now I can't sleep! The mini may be detrimental to my health! LOL

 

I just went from Neutral to 1st Gear!!!! Now I'm having trouble breathing and I can't get this stupid grin off my face!!!!
