I wanted to give update... I've been out of country for 3 weeks for business, so I didn't really get a chance to track the car.

But now that I am back... I was told that the car should be ready for delivery next week. What a great news and perfect timing! I'll be sure to take and post pics.

Free tint is pretty cool... It's expensive to get it done a the dealership!

 

BTW.. Still no info for a ship yet. If i end up on the Kline ship, I can't track it but it does come in to port 2 days before the WW ship does. As long as I'm on some ship today, I'll be happy!

I wanted rubber mats, they would only discuss the standard ones gratis. Everything else was MSRP with zero tolerance for negotiation.

well going against me for free items is that I got a pretty good discount from the sales manager since my family has purchased there before and will want to again. Its hard to ask for free stuff after they already gave me a discount. But then again, having the car at the dealership for a whole week before I can get it is a kick to the nuts. Atleast gimme some mats for the delay.

I was told i'd get some accessories for free, but he never told me what exactly I'd be getting. ha ha.. I guess thats another thing I have to wait to know! hahahaha

 

Well its about 5:30 pm in England.... No shipping info at all... both ships leave today.... don't think I'll be on one. The next one to come to Charleston doesn't leave until the 27th and arrives July 10th. I better get a TON of free stuff if my car ends up on that ship!

 

Starry, are you sure you aren't on a K-Line ship? They ship into Charleston and would of course be difficult to impossible to track your booking on the ships?

 

Darn Starry, you keep getting the shafted and it's starting to get on my nerves. You have reason to ask for a crap load of free stuff.... I would start doing that now. Call your MA and say seriously, what are you doing to compensate me not getting my car?

 

But then shouldn't there be at least some kind of shipping info from Robo-voice to tell me that its booked on a ship?

Welcome back! We were MINI-sitting the babies while the parents are gone. Pretty good babies but the ones with the topless are a bit wild.

Call your MA...and maybe even give them a day or two once the ship leaves for the status to get updated. I was in a similar situation as you, where the next ship had left and robo-voice just said "waiting for a ship". It took a few days for me to finally get hold of my MA who did confirm it was on the ship!
