Thanks for that idea, but I've done that oh, I'd say conservatively 67 BAZILLION times, and no such luck!

I'm nearly certain I'm fated to be on a K-Line at this point. I think the tracking would have showed up by now if I was on a W&W.

Blackjackmark, my MCS was completed on 6/6 and I've gotten the same information for a week now.

I'm in the same boat - pardon the pun. My mini was completed on 6/9 and flipped to awaiting transport on 6/11. My MA has no further info as of this AM.
I believe my MINI will be coming into Charleston. Good luck

I'm betting a can of synthetic oil that all 3 KC cars are sailing. Let us know when you find out, cknlil !

Contacted Ric the sales manager. He told me that my Mini is at the port awaiting a ship, same as the robo-voice. I am still hoping I made the Western Highway, but I won't know for sure until next week.

I do live in Idaho half time and in Chicago the other half of the time. I'm buying the MCS at Kanuf MINI in Lake Bluff, IL (Chicago) so I assume the port of entry is NY, but I'm not sure.

I used craigslist and sold my car. Make sure you advertise it in multiple regions even though they only say 1 region....I had one ad removed for "multiple post" but I just re-added it and no problems. I had over 12 people interested and sold to first person to leave a deposit.

Hello all... my first post!

"Greetings fellow Motorer!"

Do any of you now hear that in your head, kind of like when a song gets stuck there and won't go away? I know I do!

Anyway, I've been reading this thread for a while now and decided to finally post since I seem to be exhibiting most of the symptons of MINI OCD. I ordered my MINI on 5/30, it went into production on 6/1, completed on 6/7, and now, according to ASK MINI, is sitting at the Southhampton port awaiting a vessel. Boy, am I getting tired of hearing that but I can't help from checking anyway!

I think week 23 is the right week for me, isn't it?

GemgirlPA,
What people want right now is MPG, so be sure to include the highway MPG in your ad. I also put my car in the parking lot on a busy street (but not overnight).

If you can afford to keep the old car after you get the new one, sometimes you can get more for the old car.

In the end, if your old car is in demand, it will sell. I would avoid sellling to anyone that you have not seen face to face. Good luck !

I have a question to the Penfed people here. I was approved and was told my check went out on Friday. How long did it take for you to receive your checks once shipped?

Sold my BMW 540i to the guy who cuts my hair. We were chatting and he told me he was looking for good used car for his son. I had intended to trade in the BMW and he said he would buy it. I like both him and his son, so rather than ket the dealer make money off the car, I sold it to him. He's picking it up on Monday. Since Maggy probably won't arrive for a week or so at the dealer, I'll be driving my summer car (1988 Alfa Spyder Veloci) to work. My 3 year old standard poodle loves the Alfa. Especially with the top down. You can only imagine the looks we get. Her all dressed up in her red harness (so the seat belt fastens) with her doggles on!! Black poodle, red harness red doggles!! It;s like a wee circus float!

Hi, jfp. I was completed on 6/6 and have been getting the same "awaiting a vessel" message all week. There are several of us in the W23 group that are all in the same boat (excuse the pun).

We're HERE too!

Yay! I'm able to post - thanks, web-maestro.

I wanted to thank all the crazies on the Week 23 thread for ALL of the tracking information - it's made our short wait very entertaining. We originally thought the Owners Lounge was our best source of tracking info... but you guys have taught me otherwise!

Our (unnamed, sorry) MINI was ordered May 30, started production June 3, finished on the 9th (?) and got onto the Asian Chorus on the 12th!!! WOOHOOO!!! Sorry OWD - I'm hoping our little laser blue S didn't cut in line in front of Maxwell. Apparently, manners is something our baby has yet to learn.

I'm really pleased with our dealer - I think we got super lucky. We ordered online through Bob Smith in Calabasas in CA, they changed one of their pre-orders to fit our requirements and it turns out they are only 33 miles from the VDC. So we were one of the latest order dates in Week 23 and we may be one of the first West Coast deliveries. The Internet sales manager Lauren said our car would be one of the last on and one of the first off the boat and damned if she wasn't right on the loading - loading time was 5:22pm on the 12th, just in time for it to depart.

So - I was thinking I should do the two-week trial at AIS to track the Asian Chorus - has anyone done so already?

I tried to sign up for the two week trial with AIS, but I haven't gotten any sort of confirmation email yet. That was like a week ago....I'm not really sure how it works.
