Ordered my stubby antenna yesterday, plus the 4th brake light kit since I was dumb enough not to order the rear fog light and now the back of PeeWee looks silly with that obvious plastic plate. Should be arriving next week..

Matt attached the "mud flaps" which are OEM (original equipment manufacturer--made by MINI/BMW). The front looks good but the rear looks a little funny because the curve of the aerokit rear bumper.

I've got to silicone the flap to the body to keep it tight and close...Really didnt want to do that, think the warranty would be affected?

Photos forthcoming. Took them, now just need to post them to my Kodak Gallery. Will share the link. The sunset was casting amazing orange light over everything, the lightning blue with orange "filter" looks really trippy. Will share the link tomorrow.

Have fun! That's a really big turnout! Our car club isn't that big. We had 25 minis yesterday.... (that's not everyone) It was fun. I kind of felt like an outsider when I walked up, but most everyone was friendly and inviting.

I want a stubby antenna, but I found out that I can't have one because of my Nav and sat. radio. I need that huge, ugly, remote control car looking antenna.

I dont think the NAV uses the radio antenna. I've driven around without the antenna and it worked just fine. Sat radio on the other hand, i do not have, but I think it has it's own antenna somewhere else.

MINI Card

Hi guys, m wondering if any of you ever received the "MINI Card"? I received mine a few days back and they said it'll have the picture of "your MINI" but it doesn't look like PeeWee at all! It doesn't even have any rims!

Hmmm... oh well.

I would be afraid of what (another) credit card would do to my credit rating, even if it had a cool photo of (sorta) my Mini on it.

I saw that was an option on MINIUSA.COM, but never really gave it a second glance. I would demand "my" car on it, though. They should have templates of every option to make the car on the credit card "yours".

Unless its perfect, why settle?

HEY: Cool stuff, I just shifted to "2nd gear" with that post! Must have reached the next required number of posts. COOL. no more first gear!

LOL. I actually just have 1 credit card that I use. My other one is a GAP visa that they just issued to me out of nowhere, I didn't even fill out anything! So this one is kinda like my 2nd one because I don't use the GAP one.

On the pic though, I don't know how or where to demand that they put PeeWee's actual look there!

Welcome to the "2nd gear"!

---oh wait. I'm already on 3rd! Don't know when I got there!

Cool beans! The plate color matches with Mystique! That's fast! I think it takes 4-8 weeks to get ours!

good morning DChaps... i'm very sorry I thought i emailed you about a week ago telling you about this and asking if you were interested, when you didn't get back to me -I didn't want to be pushy.

Let me tell you, this is a fantastic group of people and it was a blast and I am definatly a proud member. You should go on to the phillymini.org and check it out. there were 60+ MINI (not official count) and there were people from as far down as Maryland. They have information on their home page.
I hope we see you there!!!

I have some on the camera, will have to download them later this week (really busy this week) but really was fun! It seems they have different runs every month. The next one is in about 2 weeks but I think that RSVP is up today...It really isn't that much per year to join. I met some one I work one block away, waved to him on the road one day it was nice to talk to him. It was totally amazing to see so many MINI's in on spot!

I saw the pic with "Turbo" under the Cooper S logo. Very cool.

I may have missed it, but where did you order that from? I would like to get it too!

Thanks,
Ricardo (Rich, over here)

Are you glad that you got the alcantara vs the leather version? Also, is yours MFunctional?
Thanks again!
