That luggage is sweet, the color looks just like mellow yellow! I haven't measured the boot, which pieces will fit in there? That safari beano pr5 looks like a nice size for a weekend.Today 03:33 PM
I got the Beano 5 duffel and the Air Boss. Threw in the Gator bag, I think it will fit in the back seat if not the boot.

Orca has decided that she prefers to ride in the back seat and does not want to ride with the seats flat! Picky Miss Poodle! She's not too sure about the seat belt fasteners in the middle of the bench, but we're working on a solution. This is one terrific car.

Wellington is very nice. Looks a little like Nugget!

I really like the brown leather.

WHere's Waldo? He's IN MY DRIVEWAY!

Saw him for the first time on the showroom floor sitting next to two S-brothers...all three Chili Red! I'm KICKING myself as I realized on the way home I DID NOT take a pic of all three of them together...it would have been the perfect "Where's Waldo" image!

And granted, maybe my vision is altered by the goggles of being a proud papa, but I believe Waldo was the nicest looking one of the bunch!

He's got over 200 miles on him already. Had 8 at delivery but I live a fair bit away from the dealership. Unfortunately he got rained on but it gave me an opportunity to try out the rain sensing wipers....LOVE'EM!!

Gotta run back outside and sit in the car and fiddle with all the settings....it's gonna be a LATE night!

Woo, great pictures of the new MINIs so far! Asian Chorus is supposed to make port in California tomorrow. Now the impatience for delivery REALLY starts to set in!

And SPF ZERO, making you a Week 23 member works for me! Hope that Schomp actually surprises you with at least a little something when you pick up Wellington.

is someone making a Week 23 Badge? eventhough I was bumped up a bit, I still feel like I'm a week 23'r. It took 9 weeks from order to delivery.. man was that ever a wait!

If someone is designing and ordering a good W23 badge, I'm in for buying one! Cooper Flags has that great special, and with the amount of posts we've had in the W23 thread, we'll be the envy of NAM

Starry, the transaction went well, but was lengthy. Part of the reason was the checklist. Thanks to whoever made it up. We checked every item on the list and were laughing at how little we knew about the MINI. I think they would have liked it better if we hadn't taken so long, but I wanted to be sure. Even with the list, still forgot to find out how to initialize the Sirius radio. Have a call to Cliff to find out. They gave me a very nice MCM key chain. Gave Orca tons of doggy treats. MCM is now one of her fav places!! Rainy and wet this morning, so I am in the garage with Maggy learning to get all the settings. So far, so good!

Thanks JackJack, I think Maggy is one lovely lady. Saw a MY/B at the dealership, but no stripes. Maggy turned up her delicate MINI nose and said "JackJack was far better looking"

I have waved to most all of the MINIs that i could, and only got one wave back. However, one guy did the headlight flashing thing at me to which i responded with my lights and a wave.

i got my first wave yesterday. But it wasnt by another MINI driver. 4 kids were walking along a sidewalk and they all yelled and waved. So of course I waved back.

Despite a lot of waves on my delivery day, my success rate has been far far worse lately. I see at minimum 5 MINIs every day on my commute (that is the NYC area for you...) if not more. I tend to play catch up so that I can drive by and wave, usually the other driver is seems completely unaware there is another MINI driving with them, and the few that look at me rarely seem to understand why I am waving at them.

However, I did have a really cute girl in a PW R56 wave and then motor in line with me for a good 30 miles last weekend.
