I don't know. Maybe the jack? If it's an S, doesn't it normally come with run-flats, no spare, and no jack?

I know the JustaCoopers come with the spare underneath and the jack (at least my R50 did. I'm just assuming my R56-JaC will too.)

I just got home I LOVE my car and I got a full tank of gas what an awesome ride all the way home.

When we got there my mini was in the middle of the showroom my husband said there is your mini I said no that is not my mini it is in the middle of the showroom but then I looked again and said Oh My Gosh that is my mini I fell in love at first sight.

My husband took pictures I will hopefully post some tomorrow

I passed a fellow mini owner on the way home and we both waved

Hey, MJB! Mine was in the middle of the showroom, too. I did the exact same thing. My friend said, "That's yours." I told him they wouldn't have it there, but sure enough, it was mine.

The car only had 1 mile on the odometer! Lol. They must have rolled it off the truck and straight into the showroom.

And, yes, all cars come with a full tank of gas. It's not a perk. Mine hadn't been filled up, yet, and he said they just hadn't done it, yet, in prep, but that it's standard. Don't let them fool you into thinking they gave you anything special with that.

The only thing they're giving me is a couple of keychains. Unfortunately, they'd run out, so he's going to mail them to me.

I've had a few problems with getting the Bluetooth to work; but I'm having a BLAST driving my new MINI. They moved the iPod integration, in case anyone's interested. It's no longer in the secret compartment. There's a USB and auxillary port underneat the center console. A net on the inside of the passenger's side is where the iPod nests while it's plugged in.

No pics, yet, but I'll try and get some up tomorrow.

 

After waiting 25 min past my appointment time for the MA to show yesterday morning, things got better... but my Clubman was still in detailing when it was time to go over interior controls, so we sat in another similarly-equipped Clubman to learn the stereo, etc.

I first saw my car dripping wet, in the detail garage. MA went to help them finish while I went to the business office for paperwork. The car was done when I returned to the MA's desk, so he put the rear license on and I mounted the front plate with a "no holes" plate holder: my first mod, and I did it myself.

Had a full tank of gas, collapsible boot box, and they threw in wheel locks. Not the most generous offering, but better than nothing. The one problem is the Comfort Bluetooth that is part of the Convenience Package: configurator shows it including the ability to charge a phone via an armrest adapter, but there was none. MA says I have to buy it separately, but I'm going to pursue the matter as their responsibility. Anyone else order this option and find the same problem?

Had a lovely 65-mile drive (odo had 3 miles to begin) yesterday, and unfortunately had to motor in the rain today... but got some pix in between showers. Enjoy.

A fellow musician who saw my Clubman at work tonight had the most bedazzled look; he's a certifiable car nut, and said he just wanted to give the Clubman a big hug, but didn't want to scratch it!

Yeah, I didn't get any waves either, Alto, even though I was driving up the highway alongside two other MINIs. I'm starting to think the wave is half-dead.

My front license plate (with holes) was already mounted to the bumper when I got there. That's probably a Texas thing, considering we still have to have a front license plate by law.

I have the Convenience Package, too, but while my MA asked what phone I was using to make sure it would work, he didn't provide the insert either. I'm not sure where you buy it from, but it's not something the dealer provides. I don't know if I'd actually ever use it either, unless it provides the same phone/iPod connectivity as the USB port/aux input under the center console (which I don't think it would. I'm still a little upset that they moved that from the secret compartment, too.)

You should just be happy you got anything at all. I didn't get squat so far as freebies are concerned. I like the silver stripes against the white. That's a really nice aesthetic!

 

That's a great color combo Alto Clef, I love the Silver roof and C-Pillar. And against the white is a very nice contrast!

Fig Faun, glad to see you took delivery and all went well. Looks lke all of us have had our cars delivered. Looking at when Fig Faun started this thread (3-18) and considering where we are now, that wasn't too bad of a wait, especially seeing threads here where people are waiting until September to take delivery

 

I had fun lastnight, we went for a long ride my husband drove and there was a red light and we were on a four way lane so the person next to me kept looking at my car and was smiling she looked at me and said I love your car what is it and I told her she said I just love it I said I do too I just got him today. This is so cool. I parked ZIGGY in the garage overnight and slept very well then I got him out this morning have so errands to run and am going to just enjoy my day with my mini.

They are calling for some rain but the sun is out right now.

I love the MY color line, it makes the interior pop and match with the rest of the car. I also like the driving lamps, very nice! They look so good at night, like you're about to do some night time rallying. I want a set too .

 

Thanks, Drew! I love the color, too; it just brings the inside and outside together so well.

The driving lamps are a PIA to try and get a picture of. I tried flash. I tried no flash. I tried night-mode and day-mode. Eventually, I had to sit the car under the pool of light created by a street-lamp, move to the side so I wasn't directly in front of the car, and snap it with no flash. And it still didn't work well.


So, we're still waiting on pics from MJB, who is apparently too good to post any now that she doesn't need us as a Waiting-for-MINIs support group.

I have to get my husband to post the pictures and I have just been having way too much fun with my mini It was so funny this morning went to take my son to school and my mini was beeping at me and then an icon showed up I had my son look up the icon and it meant that due to the temperature outside which was 37 that the roads may be icy and to travel with care. How cool is that

I only had one negative report from a B**** at work she said is that your mini in the parking lot with the plaid roof I said yes but it is checkerboard she said that looks odd do you like that I said I love it. Boy I really wanted to tell her something else but I was nice and didn't

I am really sorry about the pictures guys I didn't forget about any of you I will definitely have my husband post some not sure if I have one with the nails in it but there are some of me in each one so maybe you will be able to see the nails. All I can say is that my nails looked exactly like my dash and my car....

 

I got my Prima Super Bundle in the mail today planning on washing and waxing this weekend if the weather cooperates.

I have a question my pictures are on my husband's cell phone can you upload those photos or not?

 

Sure... just have the phone e-mail them to your computer; otherwise, you'd have to take out the SIM card they're saved on, and install that in a drive in your computer (assuming it has a media drive). But the easiest way is just to have the phone e-mail them.

Feel free to come on down to Austin and wash-n-wax mine while you're at it. You need the practice, right?!
