Has anyone been given a firm production date for week 14 yet?

 

Well, for what it's worth, I called today to try to verify what they'd told me last week - got the same customer service person, too - but their verification system was down.

 

Nope, still no confirmation for me, although I'm still being told that it'll "probably be week 14"

 

I called Ask Mini today and the rep said that production of my mini started yesterday on the 16th. I'll take it with a grain of salt, at least until I see it confirmed on the Owners Lounge website (which still says it it on order).

 

When did you order?

 

I ordered on 2/20/2008.

 

I'm really getting a complex - just tried ASK MINI again - their system is still down.

By the way, my order was placed on 2/26 - so I'm still hoping for this group.

 

P.S. Finally - scheduled for production on 4/1...and just so you know, 3/30 and 31 counts as week 14, too - from Adam at ASK MINI.

Who knows if anything is written in stone. I'll control myself until sometime around 4/3 before I call again.

Honestly, I could call next week and possibly get a different response. Nothing seems to be completely real until the car - I mean MINI - is actually going through the different production stages. Don't fret, we should all be celebrating in May.

 

What's up all. Just ordered my MCS yesterday. As far as I know, I've been given a week 14 production date. Let the waiting begin!

I just call and the lady told me that my Clubman went into production this morning at 8:06am , she said that it should finish on March 31st. My question is, am I still on week 14 or is it 12 (today is still part of week 12)

She gave me my VIN number as well

Very exciting - I'm holding off until next week to call again, in hopes of a real bit of info, such as yours. Good for you!

 

So I guess the week definition is when the car finish production, not enter production

HI! Week 14 support club, that's what I need. I ordered mine on Feb. 23. Ask MINI said week 14. I just joined this website. I'm thrilled to be a part of the MINI family. How do you get to be a part of the "Not Quite--on order motor club. I'm dying. Everyday I go to the Owners Club just to see is say it's still on order. This is my first MINI. It's a Sparkling Silver Clubman.

 

My status just switched from "on order" to "scheduled for production" on the web site and now have a VIN. I ordered on Feb 22 and have been told I am week 14.

 

Did it just switch today, like right now. Or was it yesterday.

 

 

It switched this morning because it was still showing "on order" yesterday.

 

I asked my sales dude if I could buy a manufacturer's maintenance manual and he said that BMW no longer prints them, that maintenance info is only available on CD's and DVD's and that they don't sell them to customers. I'm somewhat bummed about this, does anyone know where I can get my hands on something. I need something to look at while I wait. A blue print of the car would be so cool to have hanging up somewhere.

 

Use the "Contact Us" link in the MINIUSA.com Owners Lounge to make a request; they sent me a pdf version of the owners manual that has helped ease my restlessness.

Looked again... no solution for maint manual. Sorry.

I think it just changed today, mine is still on order yesterday and I just check like 5 minutes ago and is now schedule production with VIN as well
