Otra, Yea, basically I would've had to pick it up 2.5 hours away on Saturday, but my broker said he could put it on a flatbed and he'd only charge us the cost to put diesel in is truck (about $100..) Good thing we're doing it now and not later, with gas prices and all...

Where's the pictures of your new MINI. Bet your too breaking her in to get a quick snapshot.

 

Wellll......long story but I did NOT actually get to get my MINI yet. It has been a weird and difficult process...but I'm hoping to get it sometime this week. It's ridiculous what I went through, and I am NOT happy about it. But I'm trying to keep a positive outlook and hopefully I'll be receiving it this week! Keep your fingers crossed for me, and I will definitely post pictures when I get it!!

 

Oh, p.s. ram, thanks for asking and keeping tabs too! Love the way the mini community bands together (especially through these *ehem* difficult times...)

I will definitely post pics, and when I get a chance I will type up the trouble I've had and post it here, if for nothing more than so other people will not go through what I went through!

I probably shouldn't jynx myself but I am supposudly taking delivery tomorrow. (again, crossing my fingers).

Well, it's true! I may be the last week 14er to get her MINI, but it was sooo worth it! I went to pick it up yesterday 2.5 hours away from my house (yeah, no delivery ... ). The dealer was very friendly and helpful after all we'd been through, and they showed me how to work everything and programmed all my settings. Found out that my phone won't work with the bluetooth but other than that everything is WONDERFUL! The drive back was so much fun, but I was afraid someone would spontaneously crash into me and giant rocks would be kicked up from people in front of me...ugh...worrying about the new baby .

I did take some camera phone pictures at the dealer, but can't figure out how to get them on this computer (my work computer). I will take some regular digital camera pics and post them ASAP! Hopefully tonight! Thanks for all of your support, and when I feel like typing a short essay I'll give everyone the account of my trials and tribulations while trying to acquire my wonderful new toy
