My Clubman is at the dealer last night I will schedule to pick it up on Friday

 

Mine came on the Don Juan. Arrived in Port Heuneme on Friday and the dealership on Monday. Pretty fast.

 

My MA just called to set up a time to pick up my Mini! It arrived at South Bay BMW/Mini just moments ago. Unfortunately there's that whole adult responsibility of going to work that I must mitigate... so I have to wait a couple more days until Saturday morning. Shouldn't be too much longer for all the So Cal Motorers.

 

Picked mine up this evening. The owners lounge still says she's at the VDC. LOL

I couldn't have asked for a better looking vehicle. I've only had her a few hours and she's already a member of the family!

I should've got the OEM roof rack

You can still get a roof rack, can't you? It's only the Clubman install for the roof rack that has been "pulled" until they can remedy some "isolated issues".

 

I was on the Carmen also.... And I think I'm gonna bail out of work early tomorrow and try to fight the Los Angeles traffic to pick it up.

I've been having a lot of "should haves" lately too. I should have gotten the rear fog lights. I really should have gotten the sport package with the 17" wheels. Although I'm certain that any remaining regrets will be put to rest once I finally pick it up. I've spent way too much time obsessing about my order.

 

Yea I believe so...I probably should but I'm so anxious to get it right now that I'm probably just going to pick it up and then later down the line have the dealer put it on for me. Anyone know how much that costs, or how I would go about doing that?

I think I remember a thread about people putting them on themselves? Any issues?

 

I managed to get a quick photo of my new MINI. She is a dream come true. I'm really happy how she turned out. Hopefully some better pics will follow as weather has been less then ideal here.

 

Got mine on Wednesday night, been busy already installing mods. Here is a couple quick picks.

Ours landed in Port Hueneme on Friday and was at the dealer on Monday so we picked him up on Tuesday. Say hello to "Chili *****". Now I wish I commuted to work instead of work from home.

wow! all your MINIs look awesome! I can't believe you guys have them already. I have no idea where mine is right now....ugh. I'm so anxious it's killing me!

 

Still no word on my MINI. I know that it was discharged from the Carmen on 4/28 in Port Hueneme so I'm assuming it's at the VDC? I called my broker who called the dealer and they said they can't track it until it has reahced the carrier, but they said conservatively 7-10 days.

I'm definitely hoping for sooner. I hope I'll be able to pick it up this weekend. Since the dealer and broker are 2 hours away I can't go pick up until a weekend, so I'm hoping to luck out and not have to wait ANOTHER week to go get it!

Sorry about the venting, but this is a support group...and I need some...support!

edit: Prost and ram, you've got some nice looking pepper whites there! That was my second choice. hehe. And everyone else's look amazing too!

 

Chilly ***** looks really good - congratulations! And Prost, I really like the body colored roof on your PW - very nice. I'm actually feeling like I might have preferred the body colored roof on mine.

I know, it's hard. As pathetic as that sounds, it's true - when this is the big focus. Crazy isn't it? MINI has done an excellent job of encouraging this kind of behavior and sites like this, MINI2 and others just push the co-dependence.

 

LOL. Laser Blue/Black was my second choice! Thanks for the compliment and hang in there. I'm sure you are just days away from getting your car. I know it's tough but you can do it!

Okay, maybe you will; I just got "the call" from my broker! My MINI is ready today! And it's going to be delivered to my office on friday! I am more excited than I have been for anything in years! Woo!

 

Congrats! bet you dont sleep well for the next few days with all the excitement!
