Anyone else waiting for a mini that is shipping out of Southampton 11/28 on "Toronto".....scheduled to arrive in NY on 12/6/07.....??

 

 

Hi Carrie, I'm trying to ferret out where my mini is. The OL on miniusa is less than helpful. But I know I'm week 48 and it went into production 11/21. Shipping today sounds a little early ... but .... ?

Does any of this correlate w/ your info and thus shipping on teh Toronto? Can you search the Torontos cargo by VIN? How? Better yet, how did you find outyou were aboard?

My mini went into production on 11/19 so it's quite possible you shipped already. You're right, though, the OL is kinda useless. I did get my VIN from there tho, under "review order", so if you don't have that yet start there.

Next step : go to
http://schedule.2wglobal.com/AppTracking/cargoTrack.do
and click on "auto cargo" under the picture of the vessel. Put your VIN in the "cargo ID" box and hit track. When I put in my VIN I see that it was booked on the 19th, arrived at the dock on the 27th and loaded onto the vessel on the 28th. This will give you the vessel number and the voyage number. Click on the voyage number and you'll see the route. In my case "Southampton" is in red, indicating that it left yesterday.

Let me know what vessel you're on.....my mini is getting lonely

 

Thanks for the fast reply! Sorry to say my Mini is not keeping yours company aboard the Toronto. Using the excellent sticky that begins this topic, I found my Mini is sitting at the port terminal in Southhampton. He/she is scheduled to board the Integrity, which sets sail 12/1 and is to arrive in NY 12/10. So perhaps it will be at Morristown (NJ) Mini on 12/6. I doubt it will be there earlier given the weekend and holiday.

When and where do you expect yours?

I'm surprised other Toronto "passengers" are not posting. Or Integrity for that matter.

What color did you order? I read another post where folks could get photos of the ship's cargo, unless they were spoofing.

My dealer advised its about 5 days to reach the showroom from the port.

 

I ordered dark silver....how about you?

The Toronto is due into NY on 12/6 so I'm hoping the mini will reach my dealer in Virginia Beach by 12/14. Then I'm having the JCW package fitted so maybe I'll be driving by the 19th.

I found a satelite image of the southampton dock, and you can see loads of minis lined up ready to ship. I have no idea if the timing was right, but when I zoomed in there only appeared to be one silve mini that didn't have a sunroof....chances that was mine? who knows??!

I'm DS/B w/ a sunroof. Can't see those very well. But I am sure I saw yours.

Post some pics in a gallery after you get her. DS/DS JCW sounds great.

Nice! I just checked on the ship tracking, and My Astro Black Mini is on this ship. It says December 9th for arrival, so I'll give it another couple days to get to the dealer. I'm so stoked, that I can hardly wait.

 

Arrival in NY on Dec 6th....I can't find any tracking info on the ship. Seems the captain doesn't update the weather service site, so we can't find out where exactly they are. I guess a couple more days and we may be able to find them approaching NY.
I wonder how long it will take to get to and through the VDC. I'm hoping it's not going to be more than 2 weeks to get down to my dealer and have all my extras fitted!
