R56 Production Week 43 Support Group

I haven't seen a Production Week 43 group yet, so get in here if you're still patiently waiting!

I just called Ask Mini today and they said production should begin any day now, so I'm just guessing that I'm in PW 43 --- right??

I read in another thread that your Production week is when it gets completed. Is that right? If so, then I'll probably be in 43 -- If not, then 42.

Determining a production week depends on whom you ask, and only really used well in production. So pick either week you like, you may want to go with the week it is completed. That way you share a voyage with same week Minis.

When we place the order with the Dealer - the MA should give you a production number and "most of the time" a production week. this is what I got back on 8/31 and when I re-ordered on 10/3 - and you can call "ask Mini" - give them your production number and they can confirm your production week.

Looks like you are week 43 - the ask mini is really a great help and can answer a ton of quesitons... we all call them more than we should but each time they take all the time we need... this all ends when the car is complete - then it starts another search.... check the link How to track my Mini https://www.northamericanmotoring.co...ad.php?t=70301

Count me in Week 43! I just called Ask Mini and the nice guy Jeff told me I was in Week 43.

So far OL is still showing me as On Order so I think production for my Mini should start next week.

*fingers crossed*

OL is often way behind - the Ask Mini call will get you a live person and a much more update status...

Well, it looks like I am in week 43 too as my expected finish date is Oct 26 (Friday).

This is my first brand new MINI as my '04 was previously owned. MINI's tracking system is amazing. I know a guy that custom ordered a Jeep in August and he has no way of finding out any information until it arrives at the dealer. The MINI tracking system is bitter/sweet though as I find myself checking the OL multiple times a day and trying to avoid calling ASKMINI. I think it makes us more anxious!

Am I missing something? Once you show "scheduled for production" do you get any further detail before you get "waiting for transport"? My MA says I'm scheduled to start production 10/25 so I'm guessing that will put completion into week 44 for me.

Most definitely! Call 866-ASK-MINI (866-275-6464) and talk with a live representative to get more detailed information. I've called a couple of times and depending on whether their system is working, they can give you fairly detailed information.

So the online system is really just a tease. I'll definitely give them a call this week, thanks.

Not a tease if you are OK with Old info - meaning you can find out faster by calling and or doing your own checking... after my Mini was complete - I have never called them again... With the help of folks here - I have been able to see / track the ship all the way to CA....

Got something in the mail today from Mini - the Field Guide to Good Motoring.

Has anyone else gotten this or anything else from Mini yet?

Car is currently in the body shop. I hope they didn't crash it on me.

Ordered 10/17 - Production week 43 - Completion date of 10/25

How long till this thing is in my hands?

I called today as well and the MINI is currently in the body shop too, then onto the paint shop, and then final assembly.

I never thought the wait would weigh so heavily on my mind!

Love ASK-MINI!

Called this morning and was informed that my Mini should be completed on 10/27.

Now...if I can find out the ship date/boat...I'll...just...er...continue to wait...

4 week to the west coast? Sounds pretty good to me. Ask Mini told me 4-6 weeks, so I'm obviously hoping for the 4 week wait.

My car is supposed to be done 10/28 which is Sunday -- oh well, I'm gonna stay with the Week 43 folks!

21 Days to the West Coast AFTER the ship sets sail - takes a day or two to get to the dock AFTER your Mini is completed - then it gets in line to be loaded on the Ship... Sooooooooooooo do the math....
