I received the "Field Guide to Good Motoring" in the mail today! Some good reading.

My MINI is scheduled to complete manufacturing tomorrow (cross my fingers!), so I hope it's on a ship towards the top of the list and not the bottom.

Called ASKMINI today and they say that our MINI is complete and has left for the port of departure. Nothing showing up on the WW site yet so now I have to bang on that every hour or so.

I thought I was just obsessed and going to lose my mind. I'm glad I found you guys so we can all white knuckle this thing together. Im supposed to be completed on 10/27 having started production on 10/21. Is it to optimistic to think we can get on that boat on the 28th?

called the MINI info# completion is definitely tomorrow not much chance that it's getting on that 10/28 boat. Oh well it was a nice thought.

If your Mini does finish today, it is possible, have seen it happen before. But the "odds" are not that great, so be prepared to sit on the dock for a bit.

Thanks for the tracking tips. We're doing an marathon face-lift at work today and I needed something to fill my day. How did "phantasms" get so lucky?

All week43's keep your fingers crossed for the FIDELIO on the 4TH !

Anyone have any experience with the 18" blk JCW run flats? I'm going to be selling the 17" crown spokes (performance) if anyone out there is interested. They will be brand new.

I keep checking to see if my MINI is booked for shipping now that it is "awaiting transport," but my optimism slowly fades each time. I know it will happen...hopefully sooner than later!

Awaiting transport

Called Ask Mini today and I am awaiting transport for Cali. She says it's about 3-5 business days to load. I'm praying and keeping all my fingers crossed for the Fidelio this Sunday.

Our MINI's might be on the same ship!--but I don't want them comparing notes.

I think MA's try to cover themselves by padding the expected wait times.

I think mine might be on the Integrity also. My ASK-MINI Status went from "Awaiting Transportation" to "In transit" the day the Integrity began loading.

WHY ISN'T IT HERE YET? SAIL FASTER!
