It looks like our ship is docked - does anyone know the difference between the yellow and green triangles? (As we approach the deadline - will we just get cut off mid-sentence? )

Green shows ship movement, yellow is docked/anchored, and so yes, she is docked at Manzanillo now.

Thanks Tharkun. So I think I get it... All those yellow guys hanging out at the approach are waiting their turn to go through. I wonder if Mr. Boheme has learned from what our MINI's were taught in driving school about passing and getting to the front of the line

Once someone found a passage schedule for the canal, but I have yet found one. So Boheme should return out to the Cistobal Anchorage area for the night. But things change often so all you can do is keep checking and see what happens, but Boheme should have passage tomorrow, seldom does a WW ship have to wait two days for a passage slot, WW books them ahead.

At the present don't "trust" AIS, the home page is down and few of the maps are working. Tagus people are having issues since yesterday, map will not go past Baja.
So for now you really don't know the real status of Boheme, you may want to check the canal cams and watch for here just in case she is actually not docked or anchored.

Yep...so AIS is still hung/delayed/broke. Which will make it diffacult to know when she will enter the Gatun locks.

Left Panama, as in, left the Manzanilla port, or "left Panama", as in...having already gone through the Canal?

OK, people....it's time...the water is boiled, towels are at the ready, and the delivery team is standing by....C'MON Boheme'ites....everyone give one big collective PUSH and deliver this thing through the Panama (birth) Canal already.

I can't believe I don't even have a car onboard this vessel.

I think Jim's computer is saving pictures. Hopefully. He should be back sometime soon and I'll double check. AIS live is wierd because other ships move but not the Boheme. But unless they're searching for gypsy moths or one of the mini's took off to party and isn't back yet, it must have left!

Hey Tigs, did you get the PM I sent you? I'm going to go to Brecht Tuesday and see about not getting any holes drilled in my front bumper.

Is that the Boheme going through the MiraFlores lock right now? Looks like an exact replica if it's not.

Well wasted about 40 minutes, took about 16 pics and was not till the last few minutes I could tell it was not the Boheme, was to close to call from any distance.

Hey! The Boheme is just going out of view in the Gatun locks! Should head down to the lake and then miraflores locks. Jim is going to put together a movie later, stick it out on the net and you can get any of the pictures you want. But right now Jim and I are off to go kayaking.

Tig, It looks like your cooper (Lil'Tig) is modified quite a bit. Have Deacon and Lil'Tig had a little race yet? I wonder how the stock 07 performs against your 06 MCS. Do you have another car on the Boheme? I am from Irvine, so not too far from you. My girlfriend order her first Cooper S from Long Beach mini and I think the first trip we'll take will be down to Seaworld with the new Cooper.

Also BTW. It is very very hot in Fontana this weekend. I have been there all weekend for Nascar and was around 110 yesterday. Hope I survive today (supposed to be hotter). Hows San Diego? Hot, I imagine.

Boheme is on the move once again, she should be heading for the Pedro Miguel lock, then Miraflores.

Hiya! Yes, LT is highly modified...and moreso all the time. But, when it comes to taking Mike in a "race"...whether in an R53 or R56 I don't stand a chance. I'm a firm believer that the performance of these cars has more to do with the Driver than it does the car model or set-up (to a point...let's not get into actual racing). Mike can smoke me every day of the week...regardless of what car he drives.

No, we don't have a MINI on the "Boheme" per se. Well, we kind of do. The new R56 of one of our MINI club members and dear friends is aboard that ship and it's been a blast teasing, joking, tracking, supporting, and building the excitement with, and for, him while we're waiting. Mike just took delivery of Deacon last weekend....so it's been a fun and wild ride.

Congrats on the new MINI!! Y'all are going to love it. Driving it down to Seaworld would be some great break-in mileage! And, yes, this week it's been miserably hot in San Diego - something that distresses me greatly since So-Cal'ers pay such a ridiculous premium relative to cost of living in order to live in paradise. I expect nothing short of sunny and 70 every day of the year!!
