Wine has begun - a nice little Pinot Noir. Still no call from MA. I do hope the truck didn't get lost or anything....

I called ras today to verify that Mr. MOJO was on the lot, and he is. So your MINI caught a different ride up...maybe a little hanky-panky going on tween your MINI and...?
My kids love Kermit as a name. I like it too.

Hi All! Well, the garage has a bit of space for Scoop, and ALL kinds of boxes and bubble wrap are stacked in my master bath tub and shower
But she's worth it!
She still awaits her gas cap and the rear chrome strip, BUT I get to get her tonight!!!!!!!!!! She'll have a trip to visit MINI Irvine next Wednesday and get the rest of everything put on.
I can't wait!
I hope all the other MINIs are united with their mommies and daddies this weekend~ That would be so cool!

I understand MINI envy! I've had it for years!
Still tapping my fingers and waiting for MA to call. Actually I just called and left him a message that we're heading over at 7:15 since we want to get there before closing! So he has about 45 minutes to finish everything!

Hello from Reno Mini family! I just logged on to my cousin's computer in hopes to find pictures of Scoop...sounds like Scoopmama is there now. I hope delivery goes well...I know the labor pains were intense!
Kimberly, I'm so sorry you haven't located yours yet...there has to be a mistake...he just HAS to be at the dealer! I like Kermit, although, he was a different shade of green. How about "Puff" as in Puff the Magic British Racing Green Dragon?
I'll be logging on later tonight or tomorrow in anticipation of seeing Scoop and hearing some better news from Kimberly. For now...I'm off to enjoy some Makers Mark and a good cigar!

I think I can sleep well tonight, but then again, maybe not!

(Well, it was a really cool-looking sculpture of an angry Chinese god carved in stone. Now I can't paste from my desktop to here. Sorry!)
I quite liked this "pouty smiley face!"
Off for our first road trip today. Break in is going to be a drag. This car wants to go fast! Hubby followed me home last night, and asked why I was going so quickly on break - in? (We're a bit obsessive about car break - in times and schedules ) I was barely pressing the gas!
It's weird driving a non-Saturn. That's all I've had for 13 years, and driving one is like breathing. Every little thing in Scoop is different. I need to spend time with the manual, sitting in her (like Tharkun at 3AM!) and getting to know all the options. Can't imagine a more fun way to spend time!

Everyone - hang in there! We will all have our MINIs soon! At least no dealers called to say the car had been wrecked in transit and needed to be rebuilt! That would truly be awful.
I'll bring my camera today and try to get some nice pictures of Scoop! Should have them up by this weekend. I posted a few to the gallery the other day, but that was pre-driving lights!

Trust me I wish Saturday was possible! I know Kim's situation and have put her in front of alllll my other cars that arrived (which numbers 17!). I want to make sure it is PERFECT when she arrives!
