Well after getting the run around from my MA telling me I was week 32 confirmed and then getting pushed to week 35 w/o any apologies whatsoever, I went with another dealer and am now at week 34, so I figured I would get the thread up for week 34ers.

Here are my specs:

Multifunction steering wheel

White indicators

Now the only thing i'm struggling with is whether or not to let the dealer prep it or not. I like clean cars, but can do w/o the swirls, any suggestions?

Thanks, the anticipation is killing me and getting it later will be hard for my brother who needs a car for school. We'll see how that all works out.

 

I know what you mean. After my wife and I having two cars, going down to one really stinks. I have biked and walked to work, and that just isn't as fun as driving something like let me think.........a turbocharged rocket!

 

Yah, i'm not sure how I will manage things. Unfortunately my commute is about 1 hour, so walking and biking isn't much of an option. Most likely my brother will just have to take the bus and such for the first month of school. I will be sad that I'll be missing out on the MINI though, hopefully everyone gets theirs soon. Since you are in Utah what is your estimated delivery date? I think with the longer travel time we might even get around the same time.

 

still no week 34's? Is it just me or does it seem like as the weeks go on, there are less and less NAM members with those weeks?

 

i was told i got put on week 34, i received my production number, checked it, and it was the wrong color. i asked the sales rep, and she said it takes a few days to update. so we'll see! hopefully i can join you on week 34!

i ordered on saturday Aug 11. my order info still says i ordered a Pepper White cooper S, i hope it updates soon to reflect my order :(

 

yah it takes a few days. I still don't have a VIN. this is driving me nuts, I was originally scheduled for week 32, then pushed to week 35/36 so I ordered with a new dealer to get week 34.

EDIT: phew... called askMINI and talked to someone. They said I am scheduled for week 34. Woot!!!

Alright! ASK-MINI now states that my vehicle went into production today with an estimated completion date of 8/21.

The OL hasn't updated and so it still says "On Order" and there's no VIN shown. From past experience, ASK-MINI is usually a day ahead of the OL though.

Not bad as it only took 6 days from order date to start of production. I waited months for my 05 MCS to start production.

 

Looks like I'm a week 33'er according to ASK MINI as my MINI is almost finished with production but I'm sure I'll see you guys on the boat over (at least the east coasters anyways).

ordered on 8/11.

Can't wait! (even though it's the better half's car, I plan on driving it quite a bit. It'll be a nice change from the E92).

 

According to Ms. Deedee, mine is estimated to be completed on the 21st! ASK-MINI is totally on top of things compared to the website, haha.

 

Looks like we have a good batch here. Has anyone's oL been updated? mine shows the same, on order.

 

I'm showing in production and when I called mini said the body is being put together with completion on the 19th.....

 

I ordered my Mini on 8/8/07 and it's sceduled to be complete on 8/20. I'm happy about that.
