I just found my VIN scheduled on the Freedom from Southampton to New York!
The car was completed on the 20th and received at the terminal on the 21st.
There are 104 other VINs listed too.

so did i!!!!!!!!! will be in NY on sept 3rd! quicker then i expected!!!!
My Mini got to the port today and is leaving tomorrow from Southhampton to go to SC on the FREEDOM!!!!!
I'm sure the other Mini's that are on there headed to NY will get along fine, even though mine is prob jealous having to wait longer to get off the ship!

Those MINIs that are bragging about getting off first won't be the last ones laughing cause they all are getting off at the same time....hehe
Well, mine is in 'final assembly', and the live person at ASKIMINI felt it was on schedule to finish today. She also said it takes 3-5 days to get to the port. Ugh. Anybody think it will make it onto the Medea, leaving Monday? That's the next WW boat headed to Hueneme, and the one after that is a whole week later. I read in another thread that other lines (NYK? K-Line?) are also used for the west coast?
My Mini was completed on the 21st but I don't think it shipped until the 22nd although I called twice on the 21st and the first time it said it was in the Paint shop and would be completed that day and the second time it said it was released to a carrier for transportation to the port. I was told they ship our cars via semi's and/or trains depending upon the availability. I would guess that if your next boat leaves Monday they will do everything they can to get it on that one instead of having it sit there for a week.

I hear that, I am hoping that my car will last until my Mini arrives.
I am trading it in so it wouldn't look too good if it came in on the back of a tow truck....
But I am pretty confident I will be ok until the day my new car arrives!

Woot..booked for the Medea. Getting closer now. Its actually worse knowing the car's complete and having to wait for it than having to wait for it just to get into production. Now I gotta plan for what roads to break it in on once it arrives.
Nice! I'm really hoping that I make it onto the Medea as well.
What was your production date? Mine was competed on the 21st, but didn't show up at the docks until yesterday (the 23rd) I believe. My VIN still doesn't show up on the WW site.
Finger's crossed...

D'oh! Turns out that I was missing a digit in my VIN and that's why it wasn't showing up on the WW site. Just checked again with the correct VIN and I am indeed booked on the Medea. Turns out that I've been booked on the ship since the 23rd.
SWEET!
SWEET!
BTW, I've just started a new All Aboard The MEDEA!! thread for those folks heading to the West coast aboard the Medea.
@gjhsu,
I believe that MINIs heading to Texas use different ships than those going to CA. Thus, I don't believe that you'd be on the Medea. However, I'd verify that you do indeed have your VIN correct and then try the WW site again (I had mine wrong for the last week!). If your MINI still doesn't show up on the WW site, then perhaps you're going to be on a non-WW ship that isn't as "trackable" as the WW ships are (such as K-Line or NYK-Line).

ASKMINI computer dude says 'released to carrier, awaiting transportation to the port of exit'. (guess the live folks get weekends off). Cutting it too close for comfort, as usual. I have visions of my Mini sailing through the air Evil Kneival style on to the slowly departing Medea!

Anyone here whose car is leaving on the Freedom know if it actually departed? I check the VIN and it shows it was loaded on the ship but that's it. Also is anyone financing their vehicle through Mini Select?
Hey thanks!!!
First post
Long time lurker, first time poster. I looks like I'm in week 34! My MINI is awaiting transport according to the tracker. Unfortunately my VIN still isn't registering with the WW site. I'm a west coaster, so I assume I'll be on the Medea.
