For the next week or so, DO NOT waste time in Photoshop when you could be out motoring.

Here are some quick pics at the dealer... took longer to get going than I thought, and the wrong wheels (but they're replacing them next week).

Gone Motoring....

Emily,

Very very nice, looks like you have the stubby antenna on samwise or am I seeing things in my old age?

Great first pictures, congratulations, tell us how the drive is later. Enjoy the drive and drive safe.

I will post a picture later of scooter and his new friend, only lot shots.

Great you have a beautiful MINI.

Mike,
Any chance you could check on AISLive to see if the Patriot has gotten into NYC yet? The last update on sailwx was at 1100GMT, and WW's site hasn't been updated to indicate that it has made it to the port...

Samwise looks great Emily! I like those black stripes on him. It some more pizzazz to an already beautiful Mini.

It should be safe to submit a request for it now. Unless something drastic happens the Carmen will make it Port Hueneme within 13 days. The trial is supposed to be 14 days but they seem to like to cut it off early. Well, at least early for us in the US due to time differences.

How far out was the Patriot with at the last reported info from sailwx?

There is another AIS site ShineMicro that has free coverage of parts of the US waters, including the NY area. I'm not seeing the Patriot listed there. Either it is too far out from land or it is already in port. The ShineMicro system only reports moving ships so once it docks, it goes off of their maps.

Ah, that happened with me a time or two as well. Their site is down when that happens. I'd send them an email about it, they might extend the trial by a day due the site not being accessible.

As noted earlier.

Global climate change, whatever makes sense. Does this mean I'm going to be living on beach front? I did not know I'm buying Southern Coastal Land for my decendants.

Late this afternoon I got the call, my good car buddy finally had his Ferrari 360 get delivered to his shop today. I went down and took a few pictures to record the day. This is a 1999 360 with 9400 miles and it is nice. It has the special CF seats with tan leather, 6 speed.

Scooter made friends with his little red horse buddy without to much of a problem. We will compare seat of the pants, kick in the butt acceleration later this week when we have more time.

Here's a little snapshot of today's afternoon treat.

Not a very good picture of scooter, but he did let me drive him back to the house before the thunderstorm with all the rain drenched our little city.

You'll have to give us a detailed description of the seat-of-the-pants differences between the two. My last ride in a Ferrari was in 1967 with a new GTB4. 0-80-0 between stop signs...
