I currently have the Alta Accessport installed on my car. Obviously, I know that I need to uninstall that before pulling the data using the Evolve-R.

But, do I need to drive the car at all on the factory tune before pulling data. Just curious as I have an FMIC/DP installed and driving on a stock tune might not be the smartest thing/

You'll be able to give us a objective comparison between the two tunes.

I was thinking for myself going with stage 4, I have a 200cel sports cat not a decat but I'm pretty sure the S, works and GP have the same downpipe the the last two are producing more power but I'll have to ask Evolve what they think.

No USB drive here. But I did get an email with a link to download the software when I originally purchased.

Based on their website, I would be Stg 3 for the catted DP and FMIC.

OK update, pulled my DME data and emailed it along with my mods as well as asking them to removing speed limiter, increase revs if applicable and remove the CEL for sports cat. mentioned stage 3 Chicken out on mentioning stage 4 after some careful thought decided not to push it and maybe run into problems down the track. Got a reply that I should have my tune within 72 hours, says their busy doing updates for customers at the moment. Now I wait....

software can be downloaded here:
http://www.evolvetuning.us/about-us/...als.html?sl=EN

we no longer send out a usb because our software gets updated and it would be too difficult to have usb updated every time for the amount of cables we sell.

you should have it in 72 hours, we hired our second tuner on full time and I do not believe he has left his desk to even take a bathroom break haha. So tunes should not take too long!

No worries, forgot to include what octane fuel I was running in my first email that had my ECU data. So sent a second email telling them it's 98 hopefully they get it before they start working on my tune.

You guys must use RON there. Otherwise you have access to fantastic fuel!

Yeah I ran meth/water in my talon. As well as 103 (r+m/2) unleaded from time to time. Was running 23psi on my 4g63 daily. Decatted 2.5" turbo back, fmic, water/meth, open intake, walboro 190, and 630cc/min injectors plus some other goodies. Wheeeee!!

I'm starting off slow on the MINI. Bought it July 5th of this year. Spending my money on all the maintenance items first. Also, dont want to get too extreme. My talon was not exactly reliable after all the modding.

That's the great thing about the Mini cooper, when we had our mini we pushed it as hard as we could. We wanted to see what we could do. Our main goal is to obtain power and keep drivability. We had over 100+ track times, 100+ hours on the dyno and still ran strong.

Unless you have a datalogger no, but you can go on the dyno and record your afr etc and post those.

Great! If you could give us a definite list of parameters to record, that would be awesome.
